Hopelessly and laughably overpriced, average food and service, narrow menu and was still hungry at the end of it all. You're better of getting a KFC and munching it on the Tube on your way home. Real shame.

We went with the 50% off deal.
The food was excellent - one of the best I have tried anywhere, and I have been to a few. I was surprised; I had heard some bad things about this place!
The lobster and sea bass was very good, even if not typical Indian dishes!
The service was good and the atmosphere was pretty good too.
Will come again.

I went to the Mint leaf for a romantic dinner with my boyfriend and I have to say that it was great. The service was fantastic. To begin with we had a couple of cocktails at the bar which were absolutley delicious. Then we sat down and had our meal which was divine. I agree that the portions aren't huge, but by the time we finished our starters and main, we didn't need anymore! I highly recommend having the sharing platter for the starter.. especially the paneer brocolli.. I still have dreams about it!
My only complaint would be the prices... it is a bit pricey for what you're getting... but if you're out for a nice treat you don't mind paying a bit more.

We visited the Mint leaf on Valentines, the place was lovely, well decorated and a good atmosphere. The set menu appeared to be interesting & pleasant enough, however, the portions were ridiculously small, they were tasty enough but for the quantity of food for two hungry people was insulting. We had the set menu, a bottle of champagne & a couple of cocktails and the bill came to over £200. They even over charged us by getting two bills confused, we refused to pay the service charge which they did not query so I take it we were not the only ones to do so that evening. We were so hungry that by the time we got to Marylebone we brought two pasties to fill the gaps!!

Our table was booked at 9.30pm we arrived early by 25 minutes and we were initially pleased that our table was already ready but we did want to have a drink at the bar but we were told no we couldn't and we should sit down, then the entire duration of the meal we felt totally rushed a couple on either side of us (who had arrived before us) were not rushed like we were, and were a course or two behind us. Eventually after our mains my partner had to tell the waiter\s (as so many people serving us) we do not want our next course yet as we had not even drunk half of our bottle of wine. We do appreciate that Valentines is a busy night but we had a late table to avoid this and there were other empty tables so I know it wasn't a case that more people wanted our table.
The biggest disappointment and what made us angry was the food, I have never in my life been to a restaurant (we do go out to eat fairly often) and left feeling hungry but that is exactly what happened on Thursday, I do appreciate that the food was directed at being shared and being romantic but surely you could serve us more than 1 prawn and 1 scallop?! Also I cannot believe in dessert we had to share half a strawberry! Not even a whole one!
We have frequented visted many restaurants in the city and have paid a lot for these meals, we appreciate good food and believe its worth paying a little extra but we entirely believe we were ripped off for the amount of food we got and the quality of it. We spent £175 on our bill that night and ended up leaving tipsy and hungry because of the lack of food.

What a dissapointment. We visited Mint Leaf on valentines evening and after a lovely cocktail in the bar, we sat down for their set menu (only menu available). We were served the first two appetiser courses within 15 minutes of sitting down but then waited 75 minutes for our mains to arrive. Unfortunately when they did finally arrive, the vennison was very over cooked, the fish over fried and very oily and the portions luckily tiny. The food clearly hadn't been freshly cooked and at around £50 a head, it was a total rip off. We asked to have the service charge removed from the bill - the waiter didn't even ask why which suggests it wasn't a surprise or a one-off.

I have visited various indian restaurants in london such as veeraswamy, amaya, mala, La Porte des Indes etc. I have enjoyed the food there, but I have never been fully satisfied with my meal. Me and my best friend went to Mint Leaf for a meal today and i was thouroughly impressed with the ambiance, the service and the food. As an indian I can assure you the food was absolutely authentic. The waiters were very ploite and attentive. The one serving us recommended a paneer and apricot dumpling dish and it was divine. The portions were rather big and we barely managed to finish both the main courses. I would visist this place again in the very near future. I am the most particular woman my friends and family have met in regards to food and this restaurant has lived up to its expectations.

I had passed this restaurant a few times and from the outside it looked good. I finally made it there for dinner one evening and was disappointed. Though the decor was interesting the food was distinctly average but the worst thing about this restaurant was the entertainment. There was recorded music playing which was bearable but then they had a live saxophonist and singer to go with the recorded music. The singer was awful and didn't fit with the music, food or the general atmosphere. Halfway through the meal we decided our ears had been tortured enough and so we rushed our food, paid the bill and left.
I would not go back to this restaurant!
