Well, as the other people have said this is a great curry house. The food truly is great, served quickly and efficiently. The taste is the best, they will cook requests and advise on new dishes. The staff are fantastic and truly make you feel relaxed, even family with first name greetings and jokes and friendship. Even when busy there is no degradation in the service and food. I've been going here for the last 7 years and am always disappointed when I eat at other curry houses....very few come close to the quality of food found here.

the best Indian restaurant this side of the river

Been going there since a teenager. Now im 33 and its a total institution enjoyed by locals for years and years

I consider only tayaabs in east london better than the darjeeling

this is the best indian i have eaten in since the East Street unlicensed indians were closed down,the food is fantastic,service is top notch,atmosphere improves everytime and the price is one of the cheapest i have eaten in
