I have been going to this restaurant for about 10years and what else can I say other than its a absolute gem, staff are nice and the interior is simple-its easy and relaxed and great value for money-two people can eat there for about 25quid! I recommend the nan breads and the sag aloo! Good for a sunday curry or a friday night take away.

After reading the reports on this website I was looking forward to an Indian that was a bit different than the norm but alas no. Its very good value but very standard english version of Indian food. The decor is a bit run down and the room can get quite smokey. I may go again but I'm sure there are plenty more to try that are better.

I've been going here for a couple of years now, this is by far the best Indian restaurant i've been to, just ask everybody who packs in on a friday night!

me and my husband have been going to the darjeeling for a couple of years now and we have recomended this place to all our friends and family and they all go there now the food is superb i would never go to another indian restaurant again as nothing can top this one the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome which means a lot to us we go there at once a week sometimes twice its so nice
