Went there with about 10 people last week for a quick bite. The manager served us and took good care of us. Nothing was too substantial, but the price was fair. Great place to go for a light bite before the theatre or whilst shopping in covent garden. I will return just for the mozzarella.

The food was sublime. No Michelin star or fine dining, just simple, tasty, healthy, food.

We mixed and matched the desserts, and the chocolate cake was the winner. Obika is not too close to my office to make it a regular lunch hunt, but I will definitely visit it again when ever I have the chance.

I've been here about 3 times over the past 2 months and have always had a great meal. The service was excellent from the moment we stepped inside. The restaurant is gorgeous and we loved the freshness of the dishes. A fantastic Martini added a touch to our experience

Intoxicating Prose

Intoxicating Prose

Sunday, October 26, 2008 - To an Italian (and I am half) the idea of a Mozzarella Bar, launched like the sushi version, is natural, whether it materialises in New York, Tokyo, Kuwait or Turin. My English aspect wonders whether it might be easier to raise a herd of buffalo at home rather than thrice-weekly fly, from Campania to our capital, immaculately fresh globes natant in brine. Indeed, Nick Griffin, ‘Buffalo Man’ from Leighton Buzzard (rather than the B.N.P.) proved this could be done. I suspect the Italians, with their proud, protective D.O.P.’s would smirk at our brief history of water bovine husbandry, however.
