Cafe Rouge (Bromley)

Returned to Bromley with the hubby and had the coq au vin. It was lovely. The atmopshere was great in the restaurant. What a relaxing day after the Christmas and New Years rush. Highly recommended.

I lunched at Cafe Rouge Bromley with my daughter this afternoon and it was packed to bursting point! The Manager immediately showed us to our booked table and informed us that the Boeuf Bourguignon was finished! On explaining that I was very much looking forward to the boeuf bourguignon he offered me the last portion that he had saved for himself. The parsnip and chestnut soup was delicious and very Christmassy! The boeuf bourguignon was wonderful, especially on such a cold and wet afternoon. I have to say for a few minutes I genuinely thought I was in Paris somewhere. I will return again.
