Thai Fusion

As a newcomer to Amersham I tried the food at Thai Fusion last Saturday and was disappointed. If your menu has 3 special dishes with tiger prawns, why would you run out of them on a Saturday night?

We ordered a take-away and were told to pick up our food in 20 minutes. Forty minutes later, we were still waiting in the restaurant twice being given the non-committal "2 minutes" line.

Soups were ok. Soft shell crab way over-cooked but prawn curry never made it into our take-away parcel. A quick phone only led to a verification that we were not charged for it so there should be no issue...

Don't bother. I'm sure there are some better Thai restaurants in the surrounding villages.

Pricier than your average local Thai but well worth it. Fresh flavours, friendly staff and a nice chilled-out vibe. Ideal if you just want a lazy mid-week meal that tastes good!
