I've been going to the Kazan since it first opened.

Service is always good - friendly and helpful. Food is always good. Value for money is excellent.

the staff is very friendly, always smiling and happy to assist. quick attentive service. 4 of us went for the 'party menu' for 5pax but they were happy to offer it to us. only little downside was that they charged the coffee extra which was part of the menu, but again they were quick in rectifying this.

the food was delicious, nicely presented. definitely good value for money! overall a superb evening! would definitely recommend :-)

We have been regulars at Kazan for years and we love it - the food, the service and the value for money cannot be beaten in central London. The food is spectacular and we have steadily worked our way through the menu several times over in the past few years. Every person we have ever taken there has loved it as well.

"The Ottoman Feast": three words on Kazan's menu that I shall forever revere. For a small group booking, the set menu was brilliant: a little bit of this, a little bit of that, all in all, a lot of great flavours and textures. The selection of dips as starters was divine and the mains did not disappoint with a good selection of meat and fresh vegetable dishes to satisfy the beginner or seasoned palate. Finishing with desert proved diffucult as having gorged oursevles with the aforementioned, there was little room left in our stomaches (though I managed to find some). Service was good though the drinks menu a little short on selections.

I went to Kazan last week with my wife. We were slightly concerned because we have had mixed results from places on here that were highly recommended. We should not have been. The meal was FANTASTIC!

I had decided to book and I was so pleased I did because the place was absolutely full. The menu was varied and the food was amazing. My wife had the red lentil soup, which she described as the best she had had, and my calamari were good as well. For main course my wife had the salmon kebab, while I had the quite fantastic sheish kebab, which was cooked to perfection.

The service all the way through was extremely attentive, despite the fact they were so busy.

We will certainly be going back.

For value, food, personalised service and experience there are few better places in London. I live round the corner and must have been 20 times. Never once has there been the slightest drop in the quality of any aspect. My only advice would be to sit upstairs rather than down.

Ate here last Saturday with my girlfriend (whose Turkish, and so knows a bit about Turkish cuisine!) for our anniversary. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal - good portions of superbly cooked food, with meat that was SO tender. All this topped off by great service and reasonable prices too - we cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Ate here on a Friday night after going to the theatre. Really delicious food, generous portions, good, friendly service. Would definately go back.

The food was to die for, especially the lady's thigh starter, brilliant menu with more than adequate choices plus a very good and reasonable wine list. The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere buzzy, which is half the battle with restaurants these days, many of which are half empty and no fun to eat in. Although the decor and furnishings are fairly basic this is made up by the excellent food, which is very well presented, and the very friendly staff. Will certainly visit again, even though we have to drive for 40 minutes to get there.

went here on saturday night for a 5.30 booking before the theatre and can honestly say that this is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly (even when you book up) and the food is delicious and fills you up. i loved everything on the menu and can't wait to go back and try something else. its not that expensive either at £70.00 for two people and the wine i chose was £30.00. just loved it.
