Always late, awful customer service. I have ordered a few times, it's always been late and when I call up no one ever bothers to apologise. I stopped using them when I waited over 2 hours and nothing had turned up when they had told me it would only be 45 mins, when I called they said it hadn't left yet – so to keep me quiet they told me my next order was free. When I called again they told me I was lying and refused to give me any discount! I have sent an email and called to complain – no response! Do not use! I would recommend either the Bombay Bicycle Club or Rajah Rowing Team, great food and what’s best you can ask for only a little oil when cooking, really tasty.

Really really disappointed in Holy Cow (Kilburn). Launched with a bang and despite being expensive was (emphasis on was) worth it because they were always on time (or thereabouts) and the food was high quality restaurant standard. Sadly no longer. 2 out of the last 4 times I have ordered the food has taken way over the estimated time to come (in one case 2 hours rather than 1 and tonight an hour and a half rather than 30 - 40 minutes.) I was called to be told it would be 5 or 10 minutes late (when it already was!) but it was then another half an hour. When it arrived it was cold and missing raita (a small thing but I had ordered it, paid for it and I only ordered one dish so not going to get lost in the melee!) When I called up to complain I was originally lied to ("we called and rang the doorbell and you weren't there." When I disputed this I was then told they would send a driver with the raita which I declined and asked for a refund. I was told this would happen but my bank details were not requested so it clearly isn't going to happen.
Real, real shame. They were great and now they are not. On to the next.

The menu read so well thought I'd convince my hubby to try!! Yes it arrived on time and hot, but that was its only redeeming factor. King prawn tandoori, was a dish of tasteless mushy prawns (think they had been defostred in the microwave!),
Mixed tandoori grill was ok, but nothing special, again very little taste. Rice was not seasoned,, so bland Bombay Aloo was covered in a thin sauce that tasted of tomatoes and little else.
I love Indian food, and am lucky to have several decent establishments close to where I live. For the price and the menu I expected so much and so little was delivered! Holy Cow needs a rethink!
42.pounds for 2 with 4 free stale popadums and no chutney or salad, Won't be going there again.
