La Tasca (James St)

This is a warning to prospective customers of La Tasca, James Street. They are refusing to accept their own website vouchers on Fridays and Saturdays. I went there this evening with a friend to use my '2 courses and a drink for £9.95' vouchers (which state they are valid all day at ALL La Tascas from 14 to 21 December 2010) and faced the embarassing situation of being told to pay full price or leave. We cut down on the size of our order and only had 2 tapas each insted of the three we would have got with the voucher, but the bill was still nearly double what we originally expected to pay. They didn't really have an explanation of why they wouldn't accept the voucher except 'it is Head office's fault'.

I like to read the reviews before go to any restaurant, Im Spanish and I can say that this is the worst spanish restaurant that I have tried. The only real spanish there is the beer (Estrella Damm) but the food is horrible. There are lots of spanish restaurants in london much better than this one.
