Absolutely fantastic meal! Went there for lunch on Saturday, food was incredible- service couldnt be faulted and the originality of the dishes was excellent. Fresh seasonal produce, so much flavour - I am not vegetarian but this place is truly a gem ! Think very reasonably priced for the quality.

Clean, average food, expensive for what it is.
We popped in for lunch on a Sunday. The place is modern and the staff friendly.
The food was ok, but nothing spectacular. Lot's of the salady type offerings tasted pretty similar and overall it was a little bland. I'm a big fan of vegetarian stuff, but this didn't really hit the mark.
The buffet system was a little annoying too as there were people trying to go both ways round, meaning some were grumbling about others pushing in.
The weighing system is also a little flawed as the guy asked us to take the bread off our plates before he weighed it, which was a messy as if (like me) your bread had become covered in salad dressing and I didn't want to start fishing things off my plate at the till.
Our plates of food were about £9 each, and the bill was nearer £25 when adding drinks, which thinking about it, was a lot for essentially two plates of various salads.
An ok meal but I wouldn't rush back.

I absolutely love Tibits! I have had to take a bit of a break from it due to making daily visits for a takeaway box over the last month or so. It's fairly reasonably priced although I do find that takeaway boxes are cheaper not because of what I put in them but because of the weight of the plate. However pretty much everything there is lovely, I've never tried the desserts though. They vary most of the hot food but the various anti-pasti is a staple and I particularly like the mushrooms. I wasn't a massive fan of Tofu until I visited here either but they converted me quite easily. They do some really tasty curries, their jalapeno peppers are lush and even their dressings taste great - I'm a big fan of the tomato and date chutney.
Take away boxes don't ever seem to get over £5 no matter what I try to stuff in them and my plates are always under or around the £10 mark. Never tried their juices as I opt for the unlimited free water fountain which is another bonus as I hate having to ask for tap water in restaurants.
Other than the food, the decor is really nice, there's lots of seating outside and the staff are generally really friendly and helpful. I've never been disappointed by Tibits and even some of my militant meat eating friends are now fans.

We visited late on a Wednesday evening and the place was about half full. The staff gave us a warm welcome, explained how things worked and were very friendly.
I really enjoyed the food, we shared two plates of hot and cold food and it was all pretty much tasty, including the dips and the fresh bread. We ate loads so I think it is good value for what you get. The drinks are very good too.
The decor and music is really cool and the place has a great vibe to it.
Will definitely be back.

I loved everything about the meal I just had at this place - literally - as I really did manage to put a little bit of just about everything on my plate from the huge range on offer at the oval-shaped self-service bar. Plate piled high I crossed my fingers at the weigh in, but it all only came to about a tenner for the most cleverly prepared and yummy plate of vegetarian fare that I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I am thinking of changing my place of work to somewhere near to Heddon Street just so that I can pop in every day.
I imagine that, when it's not drizzly and cold, the outdoor dining area would make a lovely quiet place to escape the hustle and hassle of one-block-away Regent Street. And the decor is cool too - more Wallpaper* than wheatgrass.

I had such high hopes for this place but food was little better than a hotel buffet - ininteresting, bland, overpriced, old-fashioned with a pointless gimmicky weighing system which only means they can charge ridiculous prices for less than average food .. there is so much scope for exciting vegetarian cuisine but sadly this place doesn't go there ...

This is not the place to go if you want fill ur plate one particular member of staff a lady who served me was very rude to me when i took my plate over to be weighed she asked me how many people im feeding?! then started muttering sum abuse to me in polish other customers were looking to see what was going on i felt very humiliated. why should i be made to feel embarrassed when i am a fully paying customer?! i kept quiet but i did not enjoy my meal i felt very unwelcome and i mentioned what happened to the manager at the end, but she did not speak good english so i gave up and went. i will not be returning ever again as i had a very bad experience of very bad customer service! which restaurant business on earth would make a person feel bad about buying alot of food when they make you pay over £2 for 100g! thats extremely bad customer service. overall the food was pretty bland anyway its like an overpriced salad bar!

M.R.Moss is obviously very misguided and his comments illustrate how eating decomposing corpses (that is what meat is at the end of the day) severely damages your brain. His/Her comment regarding 'secretely hoping bacon butties would be on offer' at a totally vegetarian concept restaurant confirms my first impression that this man/woman is not very bright.
I have been veggie for over 25 years and am not 'pale or undernourished'. I am reassured in the knowledge that my veggie lifestyle means I am far healthier then he/she will ever be and have managed to avoid 'Mad cow disease' that has obviously already affected him/her! I am further reassured that on my next visit to Tibits I will not have the displeasure of sitting near such an objectionable 'human' being!
