Nothing special.
There are always loads of suits in this place, I realise why now, it is expensive for what it is and frankly overhyped, but it does have very fast service to be fair. Food is overpriced (£6.70 for a beef burrito and £1 for a spoon of guacamole) and luke warm (I got back to my office to eat it 3 mins later so I would not expect it to be cold in such a short space of time) and I have had better Mexican food elsewhere. I can't imagine why you would bother to sit down and eat in here it is very crowded, frenetic and loud (I struggled to hear what the guy serving was asking), this is really a takeaway rather than a sit down meal place.
Overall I work 30 seconds walk away but won't be bothering with a return visit.

I've only been to Chilango at Bluewater but the offering is all identical. This is a relatively new entrant to the fast food mexican arena and the fresh burritos, tacos and salads are tasty enough. But as many have already commented here, with a starting price of £7.40 this is a pricey option. Add a dollop of guacomole (£1) and a coke (£1.95) and your lunch will cost £10 minimum - and that's a lot in a competitive market for a stay of around 15 minutes. There's a few other minor grumbles which I have put on their comment card - ie lack of limes, jalapeno peppers or a few token nachos in the basket - but the pricing is the main let down here for me.

Being from San Diego, California and being a Latina, I have very high standards of Mexican food. That said, I have been living in London for 9 years and have been very disappointed/starved for good Mexican food here.
My first experience of Chilango today was OK. The three steak taco with everything on them was good. The food was good- corn tortillas were authentic, guacamole was very good/fresh, all ingredients were tasty and fresh.
However, 7.70 pounds for lunch (and it wasn't that much food) was a bit much. I would have expected to pay 4-5 pounds for that. The burrito my friend had was massive, he said it was good and I'm guessing that has better value for money.
The atmosphere was very busy, it wasn't the type of place to have a nice chat with a friend over lunch. It was more "get in, get your food and get out" vibe.

Disappointing. Looks far better than it tastes. Bland, boring, dull food. You would be better going to waitrose and buying El Paso and making it yourself. Overpriced, and shockingly unpalatable! + cold.

If you've ever eaten at Burrito joints in the states then this is as close to that as you'll get. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. Great for a take out lunch!

This is a fantastic addition to the local restaurant scene. I love the whole experience as there is always a crowd and the place runs like clockwork. I moved over from the US and Mexican was really missing in London. There are some mediocre choices around but this place is great. Just noticed the menu is growing too.
