Exceline Exotic Dishes

Sorry but I have to disagree with the other reviews, perhaps they were having an off night, but when we visited Exceline the service was unfriendly, the atmosphere dead and the food awful.

Many of the items we tried to order were unavailable (there was no fish available at all) and what we got was overcooked, reheated and swimming in oil.

I really wanted to like it as we've been searching for a good alternative to the usual bog standard Turkish & Vietnamese restaurants along Mare st but I was very disappointed with this meal and won't be returning.

This is the best African Restaurant. The food is delicious. We can particularly recommend the Tilapia - mouth watering. Whether you are a carnivore or a veggie, there is enough on this menu to satisfy you. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is gloriously unhurried, the managers are happy to chat and make informed suggestions to the uninitiated.It's incredible value for money and will not remain a hidden gem for long. Book a table while you still can!

i went to this restaurant for my mums birthday for the first time and really had a great time. the food is great with excellent customer service. now am planning to go there with a group of friends for my 21st, it's that good!!!

I have been attending this restaurant for the past I year and half now. I enjoy the atmosphere of the place and friendly service of the staff. The food is absolutely great, my favourite food that I could recommend is Chopos. I am in love with them. This is probably the best African restaurant that I have dine. Most importantly it has a touch of class.
