Tasty, but that's where it ends.
This restaurant purports to be fine dining and have "up to the mark wines" (see info page) however it is overpriced average food and the wine was nowhere near the mark.
We dined there tonight (Friday) as it had been recommended to us by family who live nearby. We were shown to a table where the faux-leather seat covers were worn away so badly, they desperately needed replacing. I am surprised that the proprietor had not chosen to have them re-covered or instructed staff to only seat customers where the covers were intact.
The Chilean Sauvignon Blanc was £22.95 per bottle and was warm when served. So we asked for it to be cooled. The waiter immediately placed it in an ice bucket and topped up the ice. However it was not really cold enough to enjoy until our meal was almost over. In the meantime the staff kept trying to top up our glasses with the warm wine. Very attentive to our empty glasses but really a £23 bottle of wine should be pre-chilled.
Our only other complaint was that the Sautéed Young Vegetables were not “young”. They were diced vegetables. One would expect young vegetables to perhaps be baby carrots, or sprouting tips/shoots. Instead it was florets of cauliflower, shreds of cabbage, green beans and diced carrot with peas. To be honest it didn’t look much different from a frozen medley of vegetables from a supermarket.
The waiter did ask us how our meal was, when we were almost finished. So we told him. He said he’d pass the comments on to the chef that perhaps he could add some asparagus to the vegetables next time. I think the point was missed. And the warm wine was not acknowledged. Someone else came to take our payment. Having asked us if we would like a loyalty card, we declined and he tried to push it on us anyway. We were certainly not expecting to return here for a meal so a loyalty card was really not our priority!
I shall be adding my comments to tripadvisor. This restaurant is NOT fine dining and it is almost a breach of trade descriptions to say that the wines are up to the mark.

Decided to book somewhere local for Mother's Day and opted for India Dining, as had seen lots of great local reviews. Being an Indian family we are sceptical of what it may be like.
From beginning to end, the service was professional and friendly.
We ordered from the Mother's Day a la Carte. I had the garlic and haryali chicken and cleaned the plate. Dad had a beef dish, and brother had crab, each of which were well spiced, and a mixture of delicate flavours. I forgot to mention whilst we waited for these, we sampled some delicious aloo tikki.
Main courses were amazing. I had the south indian style cod, whilst my brother opted for the monk fish which I wanted to steal from him. Mum had the vege biriyani, and Dad the lamb biriyani. Again lots of flavour without overpowering spice. Mum also had okra and paratha, which whilst I'm not a fan she really enjoyed.
The bill came to £120 with a bottle of red, and soft drinks. I would definitely reccommend this restaurant for special occasions. It is Indian fine dining, and I like the fact that they have included so many styles of indian cuisine on their menu. It is dear on the pocket, but if you want a unique dining experience with real indian flavours then this is worth it. What's more is they did not neglect us at any time considering the occasion or our background which made for a really pleasant change and evening!
