Croque Gascon (Westfield)

very very disapointing after Comptoir Gascon. how can the same ingredients be used to make such heavy dishes?

the duck burger was probably the worst burger i have eaten, and the fries were swimming in burnt oil, although one would expect something better as they are fried in duck fat.

and the place felt no better than mcdonalds. it is possible to come up with a better atmosphere even when the place is inside a shopping mall.

I went yesterday just because I had heard they do "churros". Compare to other places around this one was quite empty. So difficult to imagine that the have something like churros. Their menu is weird mixtures of fast food that even French people never heard about and churros are from Spain.

I highly recommend the churros, I thought they were quite good. I'm from Spain and this is the first time I had them in London. Such a good value too, £2.50!! chocolate is delicious although it would better to get a bigger portion.
