Ate at Westfield last night- not massively busy but they still tried to seat us next to the opening doors at the worst table in the house!

The waitress- (no smile, no welcome-) took our order and brought us lukewarm pork chunks for our 4 year old served with chips that were dredged from the bottom of the fryer- hard and crusty and tasting of old oil!!

My grilled calamari at £5.95 was the smallest portion I have ever seen, served lukearm and no more than would have fit on your 2 fingers-when I questioned why the food was not hot I was told "we keep it on a hot plate- so its not really hot!?"- ( nice to know you're cooking my food freshly for me then!)

The chicken souvlaki also came not exactly piping but was smothered in a freezing cold garlic mayo which totally obscured any other flavour.

The menu says "eat a lot and share" -How exactly???

On the plus side the place is elegant, the flatbread delicious and a couple of the dishes really good but overall very disappointing and not The Real Greek- more "A Real Cheek".

5/10

I am so happy The Real Greek opened a branch at Westfield. The shopping centre is absolutely amazing and a fantastic lunch of dinner at their restaurant would just round off a hard day of shopping!

The design of the restaurant is amazing and considering the amount of people that were trying to get seated last week, the service was still amazing and the food was as good as ever!

PLEASE OPEN SOME MORE RESTAURANTS!!!!!!

The Real Greek???!!! I dont think so. My fiancee and I ate at the restaurant last night and it was the worst tasting food we've ever had in this country. The restaurant was semi busy but not packed and the staff didn't have a clue about how to seat anyone.

The food took ages to arrive of which the Taramasalata tasted like glue and the hummous was the blandest and driest I've ever known! We sent back 1 dish and ordered another which never arrived.

The toilets were totally unacceptable. No toilet tissue, mess on the floor, the leaking soap dispenser left a pool of soap on the floor and used bottles in the toilet too.

We ordered the bill which was wrong, then we waited 15 mins for the card machine before giving up and leaving cash on the table and exiting.

Don't bother going.....totally unnacceptable restaurant!
