Well...I tried this place for myself. We had a fantastic evening. Very Spanish...Manuela the owner is the hostess with the mostess. You alomst want to order in Spanish this place is so authentic. The place is very popular so booking is necessary at the weekend. Then out comes the chef: Phillip, husband of Manuela who personally cooks all orders - this is fresh food, freshly cooked.

If you want to have a fun evening entering into the spirit then I'd recomend the Lounge all the time.

I have been to the Lounge a couple of times and I their food is very basic.

The quality of the ingredients is really poor and my salad was not even washed properly. The place lack of atmosphere and the service is terribly slow.

We had our dinner at the Lounge tonight and it was lovely. Great tapas - good quality, good size portions and authentic tasting. Service was really friendly and pleasant. I'd really recommend this place for a low key bit of dinner in a nice atmosphere.

I've been here a couple of times, and have nothing but praise. The food is lovely, portions generous and reasonably priced, and the staff very helpful and friendly. I recently went to a tapas place in the City and it was nowhere near as nice as The Lounge. I'd definitely recommend it especially to locals!

The Lounge combines friendly, personal service with a fresh inviting interior and high quality food. I'd recommend it for relaxed dining as well as somewhere to catch the football and cricket, afternoon or evening. Phil and Manuala always provide a warm welcome making it a place to visit time and time again.

a really unpretentious delight of a place - the only drawback being the big widescreen tv on one wall!

Even though it was full and only one waitress, we felt looked after and she didn't mind us taking our time choosing and eating some tapas then ordering more. really cosy and a lovely atmosphere

The tapas was wonderful - alongside the usual were things like stuffed portobello mushroom with minced meat and manchego, and barcelona speciliaty of stewed aubergine, peppers and tomatoes. Helping are decent sizes - the octopus stewed in paprika had a lovely texture and flavour, the mini paella enough extra bits for two, the tiger prawns drowning in garlic (just the way i like it) ...

all in all, laid back, fun, delicious and great friendly service - highly recommended

More of a bar than a restaurant, but a relaxed place for some reasonable tapas. Be aware that there is a big telly on most of the time, which is great if you want to watch the footie, but distracting if you don't. Good value.

I have been to the Lounge a number of times and have found that the food is excellent and the service is fantastic. It is a small intimate venue and the staff are really friendly. It can get pretty busy, and the restaurant is quite small, but I think this all adds to the atmosphere. Great place for a first date.

If Rose wants 5 star service on Valetines then she should go to a five star restaurant! The Lounge is a great place to go to if you fancy some home cooked tapas and a casual drink. The bar is really friendly and although small, it's run efficiently and couldn't have a warmer atmosphere. The owner is always keen to chat and the barmaid is great fun (and being spanish, she knows her food and wine!) Tapas is usually fast and yummy, so go there if you fancy having a relaxed eve with friends and you won't be disappointed!

Probably St Valentine’s Day is not the best day of the year for trying a new restaurant, but nevertheless you always would expect minimal standards of customer services. More than one hour for being services it what I would not call reasonable customer services.

This a tapas restaurant with nothing new in the menu, same Spanish omelet and ‘patatas bravas’. Spanish cuisine is much more than that and I am stil waiting for reasonable Spanish restaurant in London.

Additionally the wine offer is very limited and expensive for the quality offered.
