I went to this restaurant on Saturday and it was very quiet but I thought I'd give it a try we were sat right next to the door so was constantly getting cold because of the door opening. The food was poor, one of the worst indians I've ever eaten, myself and my friends sent most of it back. The service was nice and attentive, 50/50 nothing amazing but there was hardly any diners so it should have been good, expected. The restaurant got a tad busy after midnight due to the surrounding pubs and bars emptying so it started to get more of a lively atmosphere. The plus points is that the restaurant does have a cosy vibe and is not expensive my meal total was under £26.

We went here on Saturday night. I was really impressed with the food and the staff were super friendly. We arrived late at 10.30pm but they still were happy to serve us. We were the last to leave at 12 but they didn't mind. Don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed! Thank you Parveen!!

Went there the other night. Decent enough decor and food not bad considering the mediocrity that is standard in so many Indian restaurants. Beware however the poor and dry chicken tikka, not at all succulent and accompanied by a dispiriting melange of iceburg lettuce, a few chunks of tasteless tomato and quarter of lemon.

But the service..oh dear, the lack of service. One poor chap who tried but did not have a clue and couldn't explain anything on the menu plus an arrogant maitre d' who was too busy rushing outside to text or chat on his phone and clearly thought that two women shouldn't be out eating and wasting his time.

Avoid and go to Masala Zone (at least they serve you) or Zafferani in Cross Street (good food, great service).

Ordered a takeaway from here (had no idea how hard it was to find a decent indian restaurant in islington)! Order was delivered on time and the food was good. An average indian meal - enoyable but not blown away!
