A group of us had dinner here on Friday night and yes, agreeing with the reviewer below, it was slow service! But we weren't in a rush, so it didn't really bother us!

As always, I thought the pizzas were delicious - I can't believe they are being compared to Pizza Express! The pizzas are huge, so between five of us we ordered three different pizzas and some garlic bread which was more than enough. However, the wine is pricey for what it is.... but the pizzas are reasonably good value.

Recommended!

Went to Pizza Metro as it had been recommended to me. The evening turned out to be a huge disappointment. We were taken to our table and after 10 mins and twice asking we managed to get menus. After choosing it took us asking 2 people if we could order before we managed to do so. The sparkling mineral water we ordered arrived warm necessitating having to then ask for ice (defeating the object of having mineral water !) and the starters arrived in relatively good time. However the clearing away of our first course plates took 15 mins and our main courses didn't arrive for another 15 mins after that. We tried to play it cool, being polite and understanding,as the woman on the next door table lost her rag over the wait. How much time does it take to do a pizza? We obviously declined any deserts or coffee as, for a midweek, we fancied getting to bed before dawn. The whole thing took an absolute age. The food was alright when it came, nothing really to blow you away, and quite frankly not that much better than Pizza Express, where I have to go because my very young kids love doughballs.

Overall a very disappointing experience, the food was not worth the wait, the staff were nice but the service was terrible. When I did ask how much longer we would have to wait (politely) I was given a "who knows?" type of reply with no real apology or reason.
