ABYSMAL! I cannot think of any other way to describe it, service was slow, food was not as ordered or described on the menu, drinks took ages to appear, very overpriced, bill was incorrect etc etc. If they offered me a free meal, I would not bother to go back.

After waiting in a very noisey hotel lobby for our friends we entered the grill restaurant with much anticipation.
We were shown to our seats, still wearing our coats, no one asked to take them from us ,so we had to put them on the back of the chair.
The cold bread rolls and flora, were sitting waiting for us, and the table was so dark we were unable to read the menu and requested moving table.
We were offered drinks after 20 mins sitting at the table and ordered a micture of starters, the prawn cocktail was bland and equal to that found in a Harvester but 3 times the price, chicken kebabs cooked at the table were delicious and the vegetable soup merely a pureed broth.
The main courses took well over an hour to arrive and after complaing to management re the dealy we were told the kitchen was very busy as there was a function in place at the hotel and they were very busy! The staff were extremely courteous and rushed off their feet, but not coping very well with the situation and several tables started to complain.
The main course of fillet steak on a griddle cooked at the table was very good indeed, unusually served and very tasty but the evening was marred by such a slow kitchen, a lack of finesse and not a restaurant I will return to in a hurry,
