went to Rodizio Preto on Friday evening. Fridays they apparently only do sittings for 6pm and 9pm. This is good though, because once you sit down to eat, you can eat in peace.
The atmosphere was lovely, staff werer very friendly. most importantly, the food is fantastic. The meat tastes lovely. They bring all different cuts to you and cooked to diffrerent specifications. so qute a bit of rare meat and medium and well done. tasty, tatsy, tasty.
left the totally full up and happy and thinking when i am next going to go back!!
highly recommended to anyone who is thinking of going.
i have also been to Brazil and had the same concept out there. this came quite close although the sunshine was missing i was not disappointed.
Only thing, drinks a little expensive but n more than most restaurants. cocktails = £7 something

horrible experience with rude service!
kept our 7 pounds change without asking, and think we are leaving these for tips for them! ( after they already charged about 8 pounds service charge). after I ask the money back, I got change in 5 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence and 1 pounds. short 5 pounds notes! again I ask they give money back, they look at me and my husband, think we are cheating them?!from the time we ask bill till get correct money back over half an hour without apologize!
unacceptable and horrible, rude service! hidden cost without explain properly. never go back!

The worse experience ever! I went to this place with my fiancee and we were so exited because of friend s recommendation. The service was disgraceful. The guy cutting the meat was cutting it, dropping the meat on the table and then to our plates. The manager offered us a guarana, which we thought would be as a courtesy, because we hadn't asked for any drinks, so he walked to our table and left the drink there. When we received the bill. He had charged us for it. Members of staff were so grumpy and arrogants.
If you really want to go to a goo brazilian restaurant, I woul recommend Rico. Good service, food. This Feijao preto restaurant is horrible. Food was great, but service was disgusting and horrible.

Visited Preto on Saturday 21st August 2010 for the first time, and believe me it won't be the last!! First thing I noticed was how popular it is; we hadn't booked but they managed to find us a table. The food was absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere was great , service brilliant and we had a wonderful evening out. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Being a brazilian in London is easy, food, partys and everything else. But, to find a GOOD brazilian restraurant is difficult. PRETO, is without any doubts, THE BEST BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE IN LONDON !!! I went there first with friends, and felt in love with the place. I go there every 2 weeks or so, and the service, the meats (most important) are always amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone which is a meat lover !! I'm also a concierge in a 5 star hotel in central London, and, without any hesitation, i send my guests there. If you want to tast the best of Brazil, not meen there, Preto is the place to be.
Tips: 1 - try to avoid the salad and hot buffet. You there to eat meat !!!!
2 - try the brazilian caipirinha or the brazilian BOHEMIA, which is 1 of the best beers i've ever drunk.

We went for dinner to Preto last night and had great time. The cocktails were nice, the meat I thought good quality and well cooked. The service was very friendly and efficient. All in all a great night out!

The best rodizio in London by a mile! The meat is of excellent quality and cooked prefectly. Unlike another rodizio chain in London the meat is not over salted, the deco is clean and nice and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this place to any meat lover in London.

Took my daughter out for dinner tonight at Preto. The quality of the meat is undoubtedly one of the best in London. The only difference with other steakhouses is that the skewers keep coming up and there are many types meats and cuts. So instead of paying £25 for a steak in a regular steakhouse, you pay a set price of £19.95 and you can eat as much as you can. There is also a very well garnished salad bar with vegetarian options, lasagne and other tasty dishes. Would definitely go back as we just fell in love with the place.

I went back to Preto this afternoon with a friend who was not familiar with the "Rodizio" concept. We were amazed at the quality of the meats on offer as well as with the buffet. The best meat has to be the "Hump" known in Portuguese as "Cupim" however other cuts like Rumpsteak, Sirloin, etc were equally impressive and tasteful. My mate was impressed as he is a meat lover and rightly said that it is a much better deal than other steakhouse in London. For a fixed price you eat as much as you can and the sizzling meat keeps coming up.
Preto is a hidden gem not far from Victoria Station and I will most certainly be going back soon
