Bundu Khan

I visit regularly to Bundu Khan. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is also good. This is the first south Asian restaurant in UK where you can get the real Pakistani Taste. It’s highly recommended. Especially the Behari Kebabs are simply best.

Singularly unimpressed with the service and the food. Service was slow even though the place was virtually empty. Had to ask for water three time before it arrived. As routine eaters of Pakistani food (we eat little else), all of us found the food here to be average, and some of it below average. Certainly not as well made as the prices would suggest it ought to be. The juice drinks were luke warm - they had clearly been poured from a carton at room temperature and had some ice added.

On a positive note, we were asked as we were leaving (but not before!) whether everything had been all right.

none of our party was impressed enough to want to return.

Did we love it or did we love this place, highly recommended.

Drinks were lush , food was so succulent and food was very fresh. Place was incredibly cosmopolitan.

I am a regular visitor at this restaurant and love the food. It is one of the only restaurants in east London that provides a good family and a friendly atmosphere. Although a relatively new restaurant I see many regular clients there.

This restaurant is an absolute joke, it seems like I had exactly the same ‘dining’ experience as the previous reviewer, disgusting abrupt service non existent food!!!! I went there a couple of days before Eid during Ramadan. All I’ve got to say is never again!!!

Went to this restaurant after reading good reviews and me and my family decided to go their on EID 20/9/09.

It was the worst service i have ever experienced in my life, the staff was so unorganised and the manager was just walking around doing nothing. When i approached him, he pointed me to one of their staff and told me to explain the problem to him.

In total we spent around 3 hours there, and even then we didnt have all our food and drinks.

Absolutely terrible service. Do not go there, waste of time and if you do go, make sure you take a chef with you or you aint going to get any food

My recent visit was hugely disappointing, the food lacked the essential Pakistani quality and was not cooked properly but just brought together as meat and sauce.

Bundu Khan, sorry but you are off my list.

We went there for lunch today. The restayraunt is very well presented and certainly looks the part.

However, very few waiters were around for a Friday lunch time. This certainly reflected in the quality of service. The waiter seemed very stressed out at the time, when someone from another table left due to waiting for a long time.

When the food finally arrived, I must say it was impressive, very impressive. All flavours were perfectly balanced and authentically spiced, the Biryani lovers will certainly like it.

If you can wait for the food, then fine - but if you want a 'curry in a hurry' then I would think twice.
