Bundu Khan

Took a while to be acknowledged on arrival, but we were shown to a nice, though unset, table. We then however waited a good 15 minutes for our order to be taken, and then another 15 later we were informed that the restaurant had run out of rice, but could manage one portion of pilau (between 7 of us!) and would substitute in some vegetable dishes. Having waited long enough already we didn't argue, and settled on a extra naan and 2 veg side dishes. When the food did arrive it was either cold, wrong, or not as described. And when a second plate of rice appeared (I dread to think where they found it..!) it only served to highlight how old, sweaty and unpleasant the initial portion had been.

Bill arrived complete with 6 portions of rice and 'substitute' veg dishes included - after pointing this out and paying only what we owed, we left sharpish.

On a more positive the place is smart and the waiters were fairly accommodating when we had to swap/change our [frankly inadequate] meals, however I'm slightly loath to even give it one star..

In short: Avoid avoid avoid!

Ordered my food for delivery, after waiting an hour called again to find out about the delivery. When I got the delivery my food is missing.

Used to be a regular customer for eat in now I will think twice before I go or to recommend some one.

Very very disappointed!!

1 word WOW! Service outstanding, attentive definitely, ambience decor ace. FOOD AND DRINK Loved it

Honestly despite the bad reviews I adore this place! Located nr brick lane but outshines all the restaurants within the locality. Always busy always a pleasure.

Can't help but notice THAT SINCE THE SIGNATURE DISH BIHARI BOTI KEBAB CAME ALL RESTAURANTS HAVE TRIED TO COPY- Well I remember it from Pakistan

I absolutely can't say anything nice about this place. I went there last weekend with my brother and two friends of his. Our experience was quite a nightmare. The service is incredibly disappointing. We had to wait a lot for food and drink. The waiters seemed not to see us, they were totally disorganized and not at all polite. Why do people work this way? The strangest thing is that nothing is improving there: I have just read reviews as angry as mine written two year ago!!

Please Bundu Khan, try to improve your service and think people want to enjoy your food, nor to become angry after meeting your waiters!!

We went there after adivised from a Pakistani friend. We were a group of 4 Italians and we felt outraged by the very poor service and customer service of the place. The food was good, but we had to wait for more than a hour for the food to arrive. The waiters took ages even for the drinks. And everytime we asked for something that was missing (as the napkins) they just ignored us.

That was the first and last time.

Bihari boti is lovely. Decor is modern and clean. The rest is downhill after that, Shocking service. Really bad, ruins the experience!

We came in and it was my grandmas birthday. the attitude of the waiters was atrocious. we stormed out to another place immediately!

The experience was very disapointing. I was particularly shocked by the quality of the service, very poor manners and argumentative. The prawns curry was rubbery and the rice luke warm.

Bundu khan was a nice place to visit in ramadhan but was really busy downstairs.It was overcrowded and service was slow at aftari time.The waiters looked stressed and could have been more neatly presented.The food was nice but the Firni( rice pudding ) was runny and the AC didn't seem to be on....Bundu khan waiters used to wear bow ties or maybe I just picked that up from their website pictures.They need to keep up high standards as this could be a lovely place to eat.

food is awesome i always go there i recommend bihari boti, bundu khan special paratha and biryani but only one down point is service its really bad i been there 10 times but service is very bad.
