Nakhon Thai (Canary Wharf)

Lovely food. Best Thai I have every had. Two lovely restaurants in royal victoria and canary wharf. Both exceptional quality. Try the chicken skewers and the green curry! The atmosphere is better in royal Victoria. This isn't a cheap Thai but worth it!

Appalling place. Ordered Yellow coconut curry with King prawns, potato and onions, my partner had Monk's Delight (vegetarian green curry with basil and eggplant).

Both curries were tasteless, essentially coloured coconut milk on rice, with unfresh veg added. I suspect it was microwaved, because the texture was poor. There was no eggplant whatsoever, and after two mouthfuls I had had enough.

Needless to say it was overpriced, and the portions were small (although in this case, that was a relief!)

I love thai food, and this simply wasn't thai food. Go elsewhere.

This is a really good Thai restaurant. First time I went I could not believe such a great place was actually in our neighborhood. They do something with fresh peppercorns (I can't remember the name, I do apologize) that is to die for! Light-foods lovers might find it a bit too hot, but according to Thai friends that is how it is supposed to be!

Excellent restaurant, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I would definitely recommend it. Very pleasant when I called up to book and find directions.

Had a great dinner there the other night. The scallops are to die for. Spicy but not too hot. Lots of flavour. Asparagus (side dish) just right and very tasty. The starter platter is nice and fresh, but a bit small for someone who likes the mix one. Overall and including the service, which is not too much and just right and nice dining experiance.

1st to leave a reveiw - I feel privileged..... the restaurant is decorated really nice and the food is delicious - the staff are really attentive and dress beautifully. The toilets are really clean, always a major + for the ladies. My group enjoyed the evening and have all said that they will be back - as for me I live approx 6 minutes away and they do a takeaway service .......fantastic news !!!!
