Wasn't too sure where to sit. Felt more like a bar which was busy with a few people eating. I had the steak, girlfriend the salmon - not the biggest portions but what we got was excellent - meant we had room for the desserts which were realy good. Good range of wine and cocktails with nice glasses. Staff were friendly enough and food came quick with good service. Would go back.

Love it! I have been to Bosco several times for drinks and meals, and have always recommended it to friends, so thought I'd recommend it here also!
The atmosphere given by the bar is ideal for catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion or just unwinding at the end of a long week! The staff have always been warm, welcoming and friendly - from greeting us well, checking everything is to our satisfaction, to wish us a safe journey home. The coctails are also amazing and they really know thier stuff . Only issue is is can gets too busy on Satuday nights after 11pm.
Get down there now!

We have just returned to our office after a 'celebratory' lunch at Hotel Bosco. We have entertained potential cleints, and often go for lunch meetings to the Surbiton Hotel. The lunch menu although small was varied, they also offered a quick lunch (starter, main course, and dessert all to your table in one go within 15 mins).
To say we were dissapointed today is an understatement, they no longer serve quick lunches, or a 'main meal' these have been replaced by bar food, served eventually on untreated off cuts of timber. (Be careful you will get splinters!) We waited nearly 1 hour for our food, as it was taking so long we asked for some bread, which never arrived, as we were about to give up and leave to go to the fish and chip shop across the street our food arrived.....well nearly, one member of our party's food ended up on the floor, not one dish but two!
The food was average and very over priced £10 for a burger. There was no seafood, for the first day of a small menu you would have thought they could have all the ingredients.
Diners on another table were told there were no oysters, in fact there were as we ordered them shortly after. They also ordered sausages served with black pudding but were just given sausages and told, when they asked for black pudding there was none in the kitchen. Why couldn't the waiter have said that at the point of ordering?
To sum up don't go there and if you used to go there don't bother any more you will only be dissapointed.
The hotel didn't charge us for the meal, and offered us complimentary drinks but after having to wait for 30 mins for a lemonade we thought we would cut our losses. It actually cost us in wasted time and a great deal of upset for our celebration which was over shadowed by the extremely bad food and service.
