The new owner Bill served his apprenticeship with Richard at the original Elephant Royal in Gants Hill & Docklands (don't confuse with current owners) and at Nakhon Thai in City & Docklands. The guy was taught by a really good restauranteur and it has obviously rubbed off. Well done Bill, a toast to your success!

8 of us attended a midweek dinner to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed various dishes and unanimously agreed they were different, interesting, delicately flavoursome and beautifully presented. The service was attentive yet unhurried and discrete. A decorated birthday dessert with candle was a special gift from the Restaurant although their accompanied singing was not good(lol)...plus their usual gift of exotic fresh fruit to finish off the meal was refreshing...I have made it a favourite -I've been twice since - and others in our party have said they will be revisiting. There were no complaints about smoking and the environment is clean, modern and unfussy. Warmly, Lesleyann

Absolutely FAB!! the whole family is totally addicted 2 it! lovely atmosphere! lovely staff! lovely n fantastic hot, fresh food! reccomend soya sauce noodles with pork! absolutley divine!

I am a Thai Concept addict! I was never a huge fan of thai food until I tasted their pad thai... since then I've eaten thai in as many places as I can, but I've yet to find any other restaurant that comes close. The vegetable tempura are perfect, the satay is some of the best I've ever had. The pad thai has become a staple of my diet - I'm lucky enough to live close by, and its become my takeaway of choice too! And the duck with cashew nuts is simply divine... To top it all off, the staff are pleasant, and you get a lovely plate of tropical fruit at the end of your meal. Highly recommended.
