Amber Grill Rodizio

I come to London every year to visit my fiance and we dine here frequently. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the meats are a great cut and never over cooked. I love this place!!!

2nd time but certainly the last. the quality of the meat and the choice was so different from our first time. Last Sunday, we got chicken, chicken, beef ( the same cut almost ) and have to ask to get something different. The lamb was a poor cut and over cook. So, we left very disapointed.

Service was poor, inexistant and waiters look like they cut some meat for the first time. A little bit harsh for a restaurant who does that kind of service every night.

Also kid under five year old eat for free ( on us, it said on the menu) but cannot get ONE scoop of ice scream and told us that anything we will order for our 4 yo kid will be charge.

Not very fair.

You could try this restaurant and if it's your lucky day, everything will be ok, but it's seems they have more bad day than good.

Take 15mn more to travel and you will find better brazilian restaurant close to Victoria station.

Went to amber grill to celebrate my 40th. The food was fantastic, the waiters quick and friendly, the food was beyond delicious.. The buffet and meat being brought around was great. Felt well and truly spoilt by the time i left and very full! Highly recommended to all!

never again. They served only chicken and sausage and the cow meat it was slow cooked. they save the famous rump steak which is served only once. the buffet food it wasn't great as well.

Went on saturday with 3 hungry boys ; nice airy room and very friendly service ; buffet was smaller than some we have been too ( both in London and Brazil) but thats understanadable given saturday lunchtime not exactly peak dining time

However the meat was the best i have had and no bringing the cheap cuts to fill you up first. Excellent and perfectly cooked picanha,skirt,topside and other cuts of beef plus lamb kebabs with the chicken hearts(which my 11 year old son likes!!) and sausages by which time we were full up

Will return for sure.

We have been to Amber Grill Rodizio on Friday 24.9.2010 with my wife. We arrived shortly before 7 pm and I was little bit nervous as shortly after booking I read some of the unpleasant reviews, here on this website. I decided to keep it as a little secret and didn't tell anything about some bad reviews to my wife. When we entered the restaurant, there were 2 people only eating and about 4 member of staff eating at a table at the back of the restaurant. Staring into empty restaurant on Friday evening from the entrance door, made me even more nervous. I felt the suspicious eyes of my wife behind me, so I bravely stepped in..

I remembered somebody here writting about dirty chairs at Amber Grill. I had this warning deeply in my mind but luckily...either they washed them or replaced them. All of the chairs which I could see were clean. Another worry was about the temperature and the choice of the food... I have to say, the choice of the buffet food wasn't as large as in Rodizio Rico restaurants, but it was nearly the size. The first "grill guy" was at our table in the same minute we came back with our full buffet plates. He served us with picanha, which was absolutly delicious. Other meats were also great and I liked the food more than at Rodizio which is the same type of restaurant.

We spent there 2 hours, by which time the restaurant got rather busy and only couple of tables remained empty. Despite of this, we were still served regurally by very friendly staff.

I really enjoyed the food (and I am not easy person, regarding food) and the atmosphere and my wife as well. (She is brazilian)

Good choice and I can recommend this place anyone who is hungry and wants to have a fun!

I'm Brazilian and all I can say is that this is the worst "churrascaria" (Brazilian BBK) I've ever been. The meat was tasty, but reheated and not warm enough. There wasn't as much variety as I expected from a Brazilian rodizio and the buffet was very limited. The "farofa" (toasted cassava flour) was cold and not crusty. The chairs have bad appearance, with loads of stains, looking dirty. However the staff is very friendly. I definitely would not recommend it.

If all the Brazilian restaurant is equal to this not come back. The customer service and very poor, and the waiters never come to your table. It was to be great variety of meat, but only had two or three different types of meat on the table and comes after much to ask. The buffet was empty ... in order not recommend it to anyone ... Do not waste your time to get there.

i booked this restaurant after a friend recommended it. on arrival the interior was very basic, which was very disappointing. the staff were very friendly and keen to explain how the restaurant works.

the buffet was very limited with less choices then harvester (which is saying something). the meat however was plentiful and very tasty. i booked it for my partners birthday which was a bad choice. this place is good for after work or a casual bite with friends. i got a bit obsessed with the dirty chairs as they were fabric with stains. there was also no music. i suppose you get what you pay for. though the service was good and meat fab i would not recommend this unless you clearly only going for the meat.
