Gaucho (City)

I love Gaucho, and this was my first visit to the chains City branch.

As usual the service was good, prompt without feeling rushed BUT the food was decidedly poor. My rib-eye steak was like cardboard and wafer thin!! The chips are definitely frozen (regardless what the waiting staff say!!), the grilled veg was grilled mush.

Unfortunately the Gaucho Chain is sliding slowly down hill, I now need to find a new favourite Steak House!!

Just eaten lunch here, the steaks are of course superb but the veg was drenched in butter and the service was very slow - we were over 2 hours for 2 courses - and not that attentive - waited a long time for the bill and ended up waving like a loon to the waitress across the floor for the bill as the others were all focussing on the coffee machine!

Having been a big fan of GG for years , the last few visits are putting me off a bit.
