Went there on Saturday night with 2 girlfriend's and even though we were late arriving even after changing our booking to later, they were extremely attentive and service was impeccable by our waiter Pravin. Excellent food, lamb chops to die for. After-service was really good too by packing the food for us and ordering a cab and even telling the cabbie to wait whilst we were getting ready to leave.
Staff - excellent. Food - sublime
Atmosphere - bit quiet for our liking but a party of 6/7 were loud which brightened things up.

Avoid this place, the worst service I have ever had the misfortune to experience, they were not busy yet we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks alone.
The food is less than mediocre.
The only good thing about it was decoration.
Highly priced for what you recieve, at these prices I expect the best in service (they add 12.5% service charge) and very very good food, I got neither.
We will not be going again.

Mixed Blessings;
Starters, Saffron Prawn - outstanding - Duck Samosas - OK
Mains - Ginger Lamb Rack - very nice - Stone Bass and mask - OK
Staff - pleasant and attentive Atmosphere not great, lighting very soft - so much so it was sending us to sleep! Went Saturday night and there were two other couples, very quiet. We drove and it was a pain to find - even with sat nav.
Would we go again, probably not, primarily due to the stoic atmosphere and pain to find.
To be honest I'd be surprised if it’s still open in three months.

Having dinner there was a lovely experience. They've done an excellent job with the recent refurb work - beautiful glass extension at the back, very stylish bathrooms etc..
The food is divine, staff very attentive and professional. Not sure about the music though.. it doesn't really fit the beautiful environment.
Do not expect big portions as this is a fine indian restaurant and not a curry house, but you will leave fully satisfied!
Can't wait for my next visit to the Dockmasters!

It's just a little bit off the Wharf, so suffers more than most from not having many people know where it is or how to get there. But the food is great - both in the Cellar bar and the main restaurant. It's a truly beautiful building too and the staff couldn't be nicer. It really is worth the extra walk and deserves to be successful - there aren't many really good restaurants on the Wharf but this is one of them. Do seek it out!

Fantastic interior, chic without being too stiff (what a transformation from the old curry house!). Service was attentive and friendly, as soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and were not rushed at all.
Food perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavours. I had the duck samosas and halibut which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, my friend went for the kebab platter and seafood stew with coconut and was not dissappointed either!
Great place overall, look forward to my next visit and summer drinks in the beautiful garden!
