Barraco

I went for a birthday party on a Sunday afternoon, so we were in the sideroom rather than the main cafe. The caipirinhas were very good, and very cheap, the beer was great, served in an ice cold glass. We had various dishes, varying in quality, but all very tasty and good value. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, and would come regularly if it wasn't so far away.

Barraco is an excellent place to go if you are looking for a typical Brazilian bar. They sell excellent caipirinhas and their beer on the tap is just like being in Brazil. Their food is also good, especially their steaks, considering Barraco is not a steakhouse.

The atmosphere is amazingly friendly and you can see that many of their customers are long-term. Their service is very good and they certainly make you feel at home if you are Brazilian.
