In short: the best airport food I have ever had! Decent service.

Now, that is not saying much, as airport food is generally godawful. But the Lancashire Hot Pot and the Pea and Mint soup were fantastic. The hot pot was full-bodied and perfectly prepared, with delicately cooked, crunchy haricots verts on the side. The soup was full of taste, and we loved the hint of mint. A very positive food experience.

As far as service goes, it was not bad, but far from great. They gave no recommendations on the food, had nothing to add, and just did their job without giving any extra effort. Good smiles though, and they found a wheelchair suitable table quite fast for my "date".

I felt the prices were very reasonable for what we got, but then again, I am from Norway, so I might be out of touch with what UK residents find "reasonably priced" :-)

I have recently been flying from Heathrow terminal 3 and choose this restaurant for a quick bite.

I had a po'boy sandwich and it was really nice: full of flavour and delicious!. The service was professional and quick: I have special dietary requirements which they were more than happy to accommodate. I also loved their coffee which I think I am going to swap my usual chain habits for: strong and fresh, with a nice touch of cute "latte art" on top.

The only thing that this place lacks is a proper dining atmosphere, but then it is an airport restaurant and most of them are aimed at quick service for rushed travellers. And that was definitely delivered!

I can honestly say I do not know why there have been such bad reviews on this restaurant. I went into the restaurant before flying out, and was impressed by the speed of the service (as it should be in an airport) and by the quality. Yes, the portions were small, but most good restaurants are. I thought the food was wonderfully spiced and cooked, no complaints. I had the Seabass with gnocchi which was cooked perfectly, my partner had the day boat fish & chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. We will both go back when in T3 again.

1 word: Appalling!!!

I had a caesar salad for 13.5£, and it was just ridiculous in taste and size.

I usually don't waste my time writing a review but this is just nuts!

overpriced and not good!

This place is simply dreadful. Food is overpriced and the staff undertrained or overworked. I asked for the American pancakes (nearly £10) and a cappuccino. Pancakes were really average at best and cappuccino didn't arrive. Waste of money DO NOT BOTHER.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010 - Foie gras parfait was moist, smooth, buttery and glammy, and equally pleasing were the near weightless banana muffins that carried a sugary aftertaste. The duck confit was more mash than hash sharing, more similarities with Waitrose tuna mayo than it's brasserie cousins in Paris. A radioactive looking hollandaise sauce poured all over the hash looked disturbing, even though it didn't stop me from eating it. The bagel was standard, edible, but forgettable.
