Yummy Tai Chi

They are doing a special deal at the mo - all you can eat (freshly cooked to order) for £9.90 on Sun to Thur (what a bargain we thought!). I think they are also doing the £9.90 deal on Fri & Sat if you finish your meal by 8:30pm (best call them to check). Don't be put off by the lack of customers (we were at first, but thought if we didn’t like it, we won’t come back next time – nothing to loose). Myself and husband went in on a low key evening out last Wednesday – couldn’t decide between Yummy Thai Chi or an Indian restaurant near by, at the end we settled for this – and we were glad! Really good choice of food to choose from – food came very quickly, and nicely cooked – I thought the standards had improved since new management (we’ve been once 9 months back when it was called Dynasty, wasn’t that great hence did not go back).

King prawn dishes are lovely! We didn’t want to fill our bellies up with gassy drinks as we wanted to make the best of the ‘eat as much as you like’ (but it was more because I wanted to try soooo many things on the menu – looked very attractive) so only had table water, which meant that the bill only came to under £22!!! (That’s with 10% service charge added already!) What a bargain night out, and it was nice food. We’ve got a friend visiting us this weekend – so we’ve decided to take him out on the Sunday evening – with our kids too (£5 for kids under 120cm).

p.s. I’m Chinese – good food for a local Chinese restaurant, better than most I have been to. Admittedly it is not as great as some of the top China Town restaurants, then again you are not paying top China Town prices – for £9.90, I think it is very good. Like I said, quite good food for a non-China Town based one.

Service was brilliant, food is good. Extensive options on menu for meat eaters and veggie's. Most importantly the food is consistant and also good for takeaways.
