Every time I go to Christopher's I thoroughly enjoy it. Great cocktail bar downstairs then upstairs for a superb 22oz beef rib. Desserts are as good as I've ever had, their peach melba comes out the size of a Knicker-bocker Glory. Perfect for a date, if you fancy treating someone.

For my Birthday, My Boyfriend booked a Pre Theatre meal at this resturant. Im afraid to say we were not impressed at all.
The actual resturant was lovely but the atmosphere was dull and uncomfortable. We felt that as we only paid for a Pre Theatre meal we were not worthy to be eating there. As soon as we sat down we couldn't wait to leave.
Our meal was not worth the price he paid, the quality and quantity was very poor. My partner asked for his rib eye steak to be cooked medium and it came out on the plate the size of sliced piece of beef and it was very bloody and cold.
The deserts were lovely but you can not go wrong really with a fruit salad and a chocolate brownie!!!

Second visit to Christopher's and have enjoyed the food immensly on both occasions. Fast discrete service. Excellent quality food. Wonderful views out onto Waterloo bridge. Not cheap, but lovely for a special occasion. Will return for sure.

We ate here a couple of weeks ago. Lovely ambience, busy but calm. Service attentive but not intrusive. It was not pre-theatre so went a la carte
For starters I had the Seared scallops which were delicate and full of flavour. My wife had the Rigatoni which she enjoyed. For main I had the Grilled 10 oz. New York strip sirloin steak which was melt in the mouth, while my wife had the special of the day, pan fried chicken. My dessert of Pecan maple tart with vanilla ice cream was a bit rich for me, but my wife loved her Baked New York cheesecake with blueberries. This was washed down by a cool Dry Creek Vineyard 'Clarksburg' Chenin Blanc.
Overall a very enjoyable meal, and with a discount, even better value!

My Friend and I recently entertained Dinner at Christophers W1 on a Saturday night And I can say, "we" will be returning very soon...
Christophers last night was golden! Steak with oysters hmmm and as for a dessert a giant chocolate fudge... ahhh
From the moment we walked up the Steps to Reception, our guests were attended and entertained and totally complimented for the choice of venue to the food choices itself - Well done !

I'm a huge fan of Christopher's! The food is delicious (the salmon fishcakes are a must have) and their martini's are amazing! The staff in both the restaurant and bar are always very friendly and efficient. HIghly recommended!

I have been to Christopher's several times for brunch and dinner. The dinner is not as impressive as the brunch but nevertheless it's still of high quality. The eggs and steak are marvellous but the only point which is of concern is the price. It is rather steep, even for a bottle of water, the price is extortionate!

We ate here "on spec" before going to the theatre and are now going back with friends for a more relaxed full dinner.
Superb attention to detail. Attentive but not overly pressing staff. I don't know anywhere else in the UK that ensures your water glass is always refreshed with iced water without needing to ask.
The menu is superbly crafted with both imaginative and tradditional dishes and the quality of the ingredients is as good as I have tasted anywhere except at home!
With so many choices in the West End - this is one to return to.

I ate here with friends the other night although I was suspicious about the desparity of reviews.
Please be aware that the very bad reviews are the correct ones. This place is massively overpriced, has bad service and average to bad food.
Best avoided any time.
