Hare and Tortoise (Putney)

The most awful service and most miserly restaurant you are likely to come across in London if not in the entire world.

I made an order for 5 people and paid £148 and got 2 small tubs of soya sauce and 2 similar size tubs of ginger. When i asked for more i got a dirty look and was handed one more tub of each. How awful and how poor of them.

Shame on them.

As a regular here, I've seen the service over past few visits (2 months) get worse and worse to the point that its not friendly and the waiters are mindless fast food servers. It would still be great if the food arrived in correct order and a spedy pace too. The food does taste good though that's a given. When the waiter wiped the menu across my exposed sushi when pasing across the table with no apology, I was forced to write this review.
