Very tasty and spicy Sichuan restaurant. Waiters are friendly. Bring us water without asking. My English husband and I ordered sliced fish fillet Sichuan style cooked with varieties of chillies in hot sauce in a great big bowl for £15.80. The dish is enough for 4 people! The dish taste like the dishes in the restaurants at Chengdu. The freshly stir fried water spinach with garlic is like home cooked food.

We shared 1 big bowl of rice and had the meal with chinese green tea.

The meal was so nice that we could not stop eating till we finished. We did not have room for dinner nor supper after the huge lunch. It warmed us up in today's damp drizzling autumn day.

The meal cost £30 and it worth every pound.

Awful. We ordered the hotpot lunch (where you cook the dishes yourself in the pot in front of you), but the dishes were frozen, literally straight from the freezer... prawns, fish balls etc. rock solid. The whole meal came to approx £60 for two, which is expensive for two people, considering it was lunch & all food was frozen. The meal itself was probably worth only £5, including drks, service & throwing in a few pounds for the electricity for the hotpot.

This restaurant was very disappointing. We ordered the spicy hot pot (all you can eat for a set price) and some drinks. The price was reasonable but the service from the staff was appalling.

They really could not care less about the customers once food had been ordered.

The only way to actually get attention was to walk up to the payment area and ask, then to be given some dirty evil look by the staff.

The owners of this restaurant need to go on a spying mission to see how staff actually treat their customers.

The decoration was slightly tired and the toilets and hand washing facilities were dirty. Soap to wash hands had run out.

Never again, but as this area of London is so busy, this restaurant will continue to keep giving bad service because the turnover of people that visit London is its only reason why it is still in business.

To conclude, there are many excellent alternatives if you want Chinese food.

Give this one a miss. And as for the staff, they need to learn some manners!

It was the worst experience ever!!!!!! Me and my boyfriend went to the restaurant one Sunday. only 3 tables of customer in the restaurant. Total bill: 53 pound

We ordered 3 main dishes (spicy crabs/beef tripe / Sichuan style chicken)

1: service: No one greet us and sit us, I been waiting for 20 minute to order my drink ,when I ready to order called one of waiter he just walked away and send other waitress after 5 minutes .during the food I request some napkins I been waiting for 10 minutes as well.

2: food: Spicy crab it wasn’t whole crab , in the dish you even can’t find the craw and the crab not fresh at all.. Chicken it was way too salty. beef tripe was too salty as well (I even ordered extra drink because of that) Fried rice and noodles just average.

3: atmosphere: Unpleasant smell. Also the table next to us the customer are really loud because most of them get drunk that’s why the keep shout and swear. (None of the member of staff say anything about it )

Over all I won’t go back to this restaurant ever again .really disappointed not recommend at all.

Crazy little restaurant, very steamy. Seems most people go there for the hot pot hence the steamy atmosphere. I went for the Szechuan a la carte.

Loved the Mouthwatering Sichuan Chicken with a Lip Tingling Spicy Sauce! Highly complex, multi layered flavours. At least four phases!

Deep Fried Chicken on Bone In Dry Chilli was unbelievably moreish.

What a refreshing change from the monopoly of Cantonese cuisine.

Very interesting menu with plenty of offal dishes that go beyond your regular Chinese restaurant fare. Pigs' ears starter was novel but a bit insipid. Cumin lamb enjoyable, but was basically lamb slathered with the spice. Tofu with pork dish good but not a standout. Mains are quite generous but a few pounds more expensive than standard Chinatown joints. Dandan noodles not hot enough. Service started off OK but then became hopeless as staff left. Had to go to the counter and ask for bill etc. Manager there totally indifferent.

The food taste great! If anyone is into chinese food, I highly recommend this place. No wonder Schezuan dish is widely regarded as the top chinese dish. The interior and ambiance is thoroughly modern too. I recommended it to my mates, and they all love it.
