Thai Rice (Portobello)

Terrible food! The leaflet came through my door and I thought what a lovely menu. Took a friend I have not seen a long time. What a mistake. The steak I ordered was so chewy I would never go back. I would usually say something to the staff, but I felt it was not fair to my friend because I had to wait and complain that my meal was late. The other steak arrived with sauce but the rice did not arrive at the same time. When I mentioned to the staff (I was not trying to avoid to pay for it) complimentary teas could have been nice though, The waitress said you should have said it before. How many times? And chef does not know what is tender steak. Send him home! By the way this was a recommended dish! My gosh, what more to say.

This is a big disappointment. The staff are friendly enough, but the food is poor quality and I had a strange squid salad, which just consisted of pieces of squid and lettuce. The venue is dark, with ugly decor and lighting.

My family comes here countless of time and we believe it is one of the best Thai food in the area.. The lady owner is always there and keep you warm-welcome. I know she does the cooking also that why everything comes out with care and perfection.

Good food at a reasonable price , lots of varieties and authentic taste.

We love this place and my children keep coming back. Highly recommended.
