I took my Wife there the other night and it was a bit difficult to find as it's in the middle of nowhere.
Foodwise the starters were lovely. First we had the aki saltfish parcels with guacamole and spinach wrapped in plantain. Then the CS rack of lamb and the Steak. very tasty stuff.
What let this place down is the service. The food took ages to come, this is unacceptable, and it wasn't even that busy considering other restaurants who are more busy and can handle the people.
Although the food was good and flavoursome it wasn't good enough for what we paid. With that price you'd expect the food and service to be top notch but it wasn't.
Way too overpriced and that's without dessert. We decided to skip dessert as there wasn't much choice except cheescake and ice-cream and it was too cold for ice-cream.
Food was nice but service and price lets it down.
We will not be going again.

I'm heartened to see that this is one of an African Caribbean chain of high class restaurants. Sadly, this is rare with regards to the opportunities on offer within London's restaurant landscape.
I write to highlight the last experience at the restaurant, where I found the food delicious, the range of food wide enough, the price reasonable, particularly if one opts for the buffet, and the service and attention from our waiter Wayne friendly and professional.

I had never been to Caribbean Scene before as I was told that the service and food at this restaurant was not that great, I decided to sample it myself.
From the moment my partner and i stepped in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The atmosphere was buzzing with laughter and good music and we felt 'at home'
The food was superb and the service was prompt. Many thanks to Sophia and Dima for the great service and as we promised, we will be back!

I went to the Stratford restaurant yesterday with the family and i had an amazing time!! The staff were very graceful and well mannered. I had been there before and found the service and food delicious. There were alot of birthdays being celebrated and the staff danced and cheered for all of them. The atmosphere was great and the service was very friendly. My waitress was wonderful and kept checking back on us just to make sure that we were ok. I dont like to give credit unless its due but i have to say that the buffet food was fantastic and good value for money. Excellent all round. I will defo be going back.

Visited here on a Sunday night without a reservation and had good time. It was my first experience with a Caribbean restaurant and food too really. Service was really good and attentive. It was a lively atmosphere with music and there was a big birthday booking who all were obviously enjoying themselves. I had Jerk chicken starter and Ackee and Salfish main, they were both really nice. My partner had Vegetable soup starter which was ok, and Chicken stew which was very nice. We will be returning for a friendly, casual and tasty experience.

The buffet was overpriced and poor reminded me of school dinners, the chef didnt know what one of the dishes was, the drinks were flat. But best of all was the service we waited and waited for our drinks, which were flat, we ordered desserts which after 40 mins started arriving 2 at a time with 10 min intervals for 30mins then we were informed there were no more desserts meaning half our party had no desserts. The manager was arguing with his staff in front of the customers and when we queried the bill he refused to let us leave until we paid it in full ,

Disgraceful, appaling. The Faulty Towers of Restaraunts. I will never go back there or recommend it to anyone. One drink in one and a half hours, Manager arguing with waitress, waitress arguing with customers. Waitress serving tables and preparing desserts, two at a time 10 minutes apart. Burned the crepe and set the fire alarms off. Poor food, diabolical service. Dont waste your money.

Well, well, well! Myself and my other half decided that we would eat here for our 8th anniversary and once again, it was a total disappointment.
I say once again as we had been to this restaurant in the past and have always been disappointed, but we wanted to give it another try as the restaurant itself, is truly lovely, interior wise. As for the food, well that is another story all together.
I truly believe that this restaurant is not catering for West Indians or people who know and love good food. Their food is so bland, I feel shame to know that they have used the word Caribbean in vain.
When we arrived at the restaurant the lady who greeted us at the door was very professional and we had a bit of a banter with her, which was nice.
We decided to go for the buffet, which we have never tried before and we will never try again. If we thought that the food on the menu, (that we chose to have in the past) was tasteless, we had no idea that we had another thing coming with the buffet.
Everything except for the macaroni cheese pie was poor, poor, poor, poor. To add insult to injury, when we had finished our meals, the plates were left on the table for so long, I feel sorry for the person who had the task of cleaning them (lovely congealed food). The restaurant was far from full (it was a Tuesday evening) so there was no excuse for this.
We have promised ourselves not to give this restaurant any more chances, thats it now, we are not going to waste any more money on this place.
Caribbean Scene, a word of advice, 'Go find some seasoning man, cause salt and pepper just ain't cutting it'.

I went to this restaurant on valentines day with my girlfriend. It was the first time I had been there so I didnt know what to expect.
I was completely blown away with the service we received. We had a nice table near the back of the restaurant which was really lovely.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had a buffet and could not wait to try all the different dishes. My favourite was the curry goat. Then we had chocolate cake for desert which was really tasty.
The waitress was so lovely and she kept coming to our table to ask if everything was okay. It made us feel really comfertable.
We were really looked after and it made our evening really special. I cant wait to go back there again and I would recommend it to all my friends!

Very disappointed.
Service was friendly enough, but that is the only good thing I can say about it.
The food was poor.
The rum punch was so watered down, it reminded me of of my all inclusive holiday holiday where they watered down the alcoholic drinks to stop the brits from getting drunk too quickly
Barbecued chicken was done in a tomato sauce and was was not remotely caribbean.
My curry goat tasted like it was a packet recipe.
When the waitress asked what we thought of the meal, I thought it better to say nothing, but my wife told them what she thought. She then received 2 vouchers to go back and get 2 for 1 meals.
Don't think we will be taking up the offer
