I have never had good reason to write a restaurant review in all my life.

My experience at Los Locos has compelled to review.

We had the most fantastic evening I can remember in 20 years of dinning across four continents. We had so much fun from the time we arrived till the time we left. My ribs have just about recovered from all the laughter. The waiter Mike and Rob the host are a magical double act! They entertained us the whole evening and are a credit to their profession. The level of service was exceptional. Our drinks and food was delivered with impeccable timing and the portions where rather on the large size. The atmosphere inside this restaurant is lively to say the least. Every where we looked people were having a great time. So many restaurants have the atmosphere of a wake! Not so at Los Locos. We really felt we had had a night out on the town. For the cost of our food and drinks, we could have happily paid almost twice, which in fact was what we were expecting. At those sort of prices it's no wonder there were so many fellow dinners there early midweek.

If you're in town and looking for a great evening, forget the theatre, you'll find all the entertainment you could want with these guys. Thanks to all the staff. You made a great evening, amazing.

I took some American business clients to Los Locos before the theatre and have to say I was a bit concerned. English restaurants pay more attention to fancy nonsense than the actual amount of food you've come to enjoy. My experience on the States regarding the huge portions had me worried we'd leave Los Locos needing to find something extra after the show, before we hit the clubs.

We were not disappointed at all. Every course was ample in the extreme and left the whole party well fed for a long night of fun. The service was excellent. We arrived slightly late for our booking and the head waiter, Rob was very charming and accommodating. We were sat immediately and being pushed for time, glad our food arrived promptly.

I had the steak, which was cooked exactly to my liking and my guests were more than happy with their Enchilada's and Fajita's.

Overall the service was quick and efficient without being overbearing, the food was good and there was plenty in each course and for the price paid, I was pleasantly surprised. We have now booked our Christmas party here, so I'd say a thumbs up all round.

This restaurant left me with the worst experience and service that I have ever had when dining out. I was expecting to see a full menu with itemised items to choose from but all they offered was menu 'A' or menu 'B' each costing over £25. In groups of eight or more people everyone then could only agree and choose one menu only......

There was a fixed starter comprising of three types of items and dips all piled on a platter for people to share. There was simply not enough of it. There were several choices of main course . Within my group we had most main meal options and we all agreed that it was bland, very small, and could have come out of a pre-packed style meal container from a supermarket. Within the price of the meal was the option of half a bottle of wine or two bottles of beer ( No soft drink options listed for customers not wishing to have alcohol )

The service was very poor. The waiters were not friendly, seemed in a great rush regardless of the place not being capacity filled and clumsy too. At no point did any of them ask how our meals were.

The restauarant had the audacity to add on a service charge bringing the total price to just under £30 per person. Avoid this place.

AllI can say about this place is....slow...slow ...slow. Me and my friend got there at 6:20 pm his evening, hardly a rush hour time, and we had to wait so long to order our food that in the end we were yelling at a waiter to come over and take our order. when someone finally did, for some reason he decided to tell the kitchen we had ordered 2 of each main course?! We got 2 chicken fajitas and 2 quesadillas and had to send one of each back much to the disgusted look of the waiter. The food was ok, except i have made better out of a old el paso packet, the cocktails tasted like the stuff you get for free at a club 18-30's bar in ibiza but i guess you can't expect much for the buy one get one free offer on food they had.

Although a bit outdated and tacky in terms of looks (I had a mismatching knife and fork), the food was very good and well priced.

Waiters weren't overlly friendly, but they weren't rude and the food came quickly and to order.

went here as a group of 8 and all were highly impressed. The Food was very good compared to other Mexican resturants I have been to and the waitress was very helpful. The portions were very good to what seems to be general downsizing trend amoung most other places. We went on a Tuesday so we assume the lack of an atmosphere was due to the night we went. The price seemed quite reasonable for where it is, although drinks did seem to be a bit pricey even though we went during happy hour.

I have to admit this restaurant was bad and neither my companion nor I will be going back, which is a shame. Having been all throughout Mexico and the US, I am fairly demanding when it comes to Tex-Mex. So far I haven't found any restaurants in London that really excel at it. Los Locos initially seemed promising because it offered essentials like refried beans, sour cream and guacamole which are normally left off British Mexican menus, but ultimately it was a disappointment. The waitstaff was unhelpful, we were left waiting for some minutes in an empty lobby and were about to leave before we were even seated. The atmosphere was uninviting as the red decor reminded me of grotty bars I used to frequent as a teenager. As for the food, while abundant, it lacked any flavour which is problematic because Mexican is nothing without its spices. Skip this restaurant. Save some money for a flight to taste the real thing.

We went to Los Locos with a group of friends. We thought we would start the evening with coctails, only to discover a dead fly in the jug. We pointed this out to the waiter who did not even seem suprised or offer an apology. My partner had to return the drinking glass he was given, as something appeared to have grown at the bottom -again no apology from the waiter. Needless to say that after this rocky start my stomach was already turning. The food was poor and we left soon after never to return again. Please believe the bad reviews on this restaurant as we thought it would be different for us, and wasted a night out.
