I never expect to surprised by mexican food - you usually know what to expect and I have never experienced mexican food that is experimental. In London, there are plenty of places to go for that, and as one would expect, the quality varies tremendously. I usually go for a mexican when I don't want a fuss. Don't get me wrong I like good quality food, and I also like to keep an eye on how much I spend on food when I go out. Los Locos is great value there is no doubt about that. Additionally I found the service to be attentive, friendly and funny at times. Michael, our waiter was right on the money and looked after us well, without the fuss. I wouldn't say that the food is amazing, and its certainly not bad, is somewhere in the middle, which I think is more to do with it being mexican than the actual quality of the food.
We had a two-for-one deal on the food and the drinks were good value. A few in our party were on the cocktails and I didn't hear any complaints. I would recommend Los Locos as an after-work kind of place to enjoy a few drinks and good value food. I had the quesadillas to eat. Portions good, and tasty.

Was in the Covent Garden area having drinks and wanted the evening to carry on. headed to Los Locos (after an absence of MANY years) and was delighted to discover little had changed. Good food - competitively priced and a buzzy fun atmosphere.
This restaurant/club is free from pretension, good value and the cocktails can be lethal. You WILL have fun here and leave feeling you've enjoyed a little bit of Mexico!

Nothing special , nothing bad @ Los Locos . But "nobody is ugly after 2 AM" as the logo says all over the place !.
No draught beer and you are eating in what is really a night club.
Fajitas were fine , Quesadillas OK as well. Nachos for a starter are average.
Service OK , but it is dark and dingy as you would expect in a basement night club sort of place .
Wouldn`t go again.

Went here on a 50% off deal so can't complain.
Arrived for reservation of 2 and was told to wait at bar until other person arrived. This would have been ok but girl at bar would not let me put drink on table bill, could not use card as below £10.00 and card machine located in restaurant not working. Ventured outside to find machine but gave up, returned and asked to have my table so I could order a drink. Maybe not worth mentioning but still an annoying process.
We both got different Enchiladas and they were ok...especially as they were £6 rather then £12! Nothing special and service was a bit slow.
Probably a better place to go when you are doing cocktails and drinks rather then focusing on the food. Would return for more happy hour jugs and nachos.
