I came here with some friends for drinks and dinner on a weeknight. The place was empty when we arrived but slowly filled up a bit throughout the night, but never really getting anywhere near capacity. and this is where my issue lies - the wait for service was so long! the bar staff took drinks orders from our table but we were waiting about 10-15 minutes for them all to arrive. granted they were cocktails so take a bit of time to prepare, but you wouldn't wait that long when stood at the bar ordering at any other place, so why did we have to wait that long when seated?
Also, the food was overprived for what you got. £7.25 for a burger in a bun was a bit riduculous. I would have at least expected some chips or salad on the side. Maybe I'm being a bit over - critical in these hard economic times, but the burger on its own wasn't filling and extra chips cost over £2.
Saying that though, the burger was tasty (I had the falafal) and my friends said their cocktails were very nice. And despite being slow, staff were very friendly.
There was a problem with the bill that the staff sorted out for us ok and we got a good deal on cocktails.
I'd come again, but definitely not to eat - just because i can get more bang for my buck elsewhere.
