Just had lunch here and was sufficiently angered to write a review on here. Food was OK, nothing special but nothing particularly wrong with it, but the service was shockingly bad: abrupt, thoughtless, uninterested and, when confronted with a problem, no-one seemed to care at all. They also cleared my friends' plates while I was still eating.

I shall never eat here again.

Food was Ok but nothing special. Service was appalling. Went with a friend - his food turned up but mine never did - despite asking FIVE times. Eventually they cooked it but I had to eat alone as my firend had finished. Terrible - won't be going back. Treated customers as rubbish - no apology - they thought it was funny. Never had service like this before. Shame I love this type of food.

Fried duck with rise is perfect! Seafood Ramen Soup is fantastic. Cheap place and nice staff. The best place to eat in the area. Highly recommended :-)

Went there today and was severely disappointed with the service. Two of us ordered hot meals while the third ordered a cold dish which came 15 minutes after the hot. The Ramen noodles were not freshly made and were obviously from the bottom of the bag as all the noodles were broken and overcooked. The "hot" rice was old/undercooked. The Sushi rice wasn't fresh and was overcooked. The descriptions on the menu are there just to entice the customers, "grilled chicken" obviously means bolied.

It would seem the management has become lazy about the quality of their food.

Won't be going back.

I've been to this restaurant in Ealing several times before with friends, with & without children and have always found the food to be xclnt, great value for money, and the staff efficient & polite.

It's been a while since I've been and can't help feeling that it's gone down hill. Firstly it was mid week lunch time and not overly busy - but the waitress that greeted us looked and reacted visibly annoyed that my friends & I arrived with buggies and a few kids. She was obviously annoyed and sighed as she tried to accommodate us. It felt like we were putting her out! Secondly, we waited about 20mins for our food order, while the staff stood around chatting and in the end we got up and asked for our order to be taken.

Lastly - the food itself - usually so good, some of which was a bit of disappointment. The 'greens' were limp and drying out as they had been obviously prepared earlier & left keeping warm/ While my friends pork & rice dish again had obviously been prepared hours earlier, was dry and mainly fat. There was very little meat actually in the dish. So all in all - sorry to say we probably won't be back for a while!!

Food - Myself and the Mrs come here for one dish, and one dish only. Salmon Teriyaki and Rice (R9), it's absolutely nail on the hammer perfect, well grilled and large portion of salmon, thrown over well steamed rice and the tastiest Teriyaki sauce. Haven't tried much else to be honest because I'm not a big fan of Japanese food and much prefer Thai food in general (Silom Village in Ealing suits all my requirements). Drinks for us both is always the Jasmine Tea refill.

Service - OK, sit you down fast enough, take your order and bring your food. Once in a while you'll get a smile out of them but I'm not too fussed about that as it's a small little joint and if I want impeccable service I'll head to Clos Maggiore or something a little more fine dining esque.

Atmosphere - Everytime I've been in here it's been busy or has become busy, good mixture of crowd, though sometimes depending on your seating you could be too close to the next table.

PS. The Teriyaki sauce has a tendency to fall to the bottom of the dish so make sure you get your spoon in there and pour it over the rice.
