As there are so many different comments, I went there to try it myself the other day.

OK!! it's not a big fancy cuisine

BUT the food....it's very nice. I have been to all kinds of cuisines, and I quite like this one.The service is good and other things are up to standards.

Another reason i like China silk, because other fancy places...I hate waiting half an hour for my food to come.it's food, and they are trying to do a piece of artwork on the plate,the portions are so small with lots of fancy dressings that you can't even eat. You might as well eat a bowl of noodles before you get there, otherwise your wallet will feel so light when you leave the place.

Oh dear me! Let me start off by saying the majority of the reviews on this page nailed it on the head. This place has a 'food menu', but after 24 years eating experience, Im pretty sure that what they bring is not food. HOWEVER, it is very cheap and they bring your food in about 10seconds of ordering it (probably not a good thing now i think about it.).

Had takeaway delivered. Absolutely terrible, had fried vermicelli which consists of half cooked tastless noodles. The container it come in was not even closed. It's an insult to have this labelled as Chinese food.

I got take away from here, when I entered it was empty for good reason. The first two reviews in this section must be by the people who run it. I had Dim Sum for two which was processed meat damp, cold and soggy. The fried rice was dry with nasty lumps. The black bean sauce was tasteless and the chicken water logged. VERY expensive. Don;t go here.

china silk has a very warm atmosphere and very nice people working there. thier services are 10 to none in all the chinese resturant that i have been to.i would recommend it to any one that wants to eat good, tastety delicacies.

I usually get take-aways.I like their food alot.The speed for the food to arrive is very quick.The quality and the heat of the food are kept in good condition.No delivery changes,free prawn crakers and they even deliver food to my work place.

I'm a regular customer there.I gotta say the food there are very nice.Once me and my BF went there.The staff are so kind.They played our CD,made special dishes,set a candle light dinner and made us feel like the night was set just for us.If u want a romantic atmosphere,just ask and everything will be set just the way you wanted.It's great for a romantic night out and could saft some money for the afters.
