Chungs Chinese Restaurant

The food at Chungs is fantastic. It's a little gem in the heart of all the hustle and bustle of West End shops. It's reasonably priced, no frills and quick so i'm a little shocked to read the previous reviewer's comments who obviously just had a bad day! It's been around for as long as i can remember which is surely a testament to the quality of it's food and friendly service.

This was one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had. The manager was rude the food was bland and flavoured only with salt. We had to wait an hour before our food came and were ignored by the waiting staff when we tried to query where our food was. There is nothing good to say about this restaurant.

If shopping in town has taken its toll and your starving and not looking to spend an absoloute bomb, then "Chungs" really is the one for you, the staff are extremely accomodating and the food is one of the best in chinese cuisine around, the crispy duck is to die for and also highly recomended from me is the hot and sour soup.....Yum perfect for a cure to hard days shopping in town especially as the weather is getting a bit nippy, Chungs is gauranteed to warm your "cockles".
