Delicious food every time I need a FB fix!
The staff always seem friendly, helpful and as passionate about serving their scrumptious tasty food as I am about eating it. An oasis in London, thank you Fusebox!

Delicious food bursting with flavour - thank you Fusebox. Just delicious. The staff at the counter were helpful (half the time I don't know what I want) and they fix me up a delicious meal in no time). They seem so genuine and obviously love what they do. Very positive, very yummy. I hope they open up a place near my office in SW6... please!

Fusebox started off really well but increasingly the dishes are very samey. Each beef dish is like the last - they simply change the name. Basically just a stew, the curries have no kick at all. The chicken used is also of a very inferior quality and rather "knuckly". Come on Fusebox - use better quality ingredients and actually vary the dishes rather than just the names!

I usually go there and enjoy their hot dishes. Today I decided to try their salads - how disappointing! The serving was ridiculously small, those boxes are for children meals! I hate it when people try to make money on serving ridiculous salad portions. And it tasted bland. I was still hungry and went to get some sushi. I will be getting my 'honest' salad tomorrow from the sushi place as well.

How disappointing, it sounded too good to be true - and unfortunately it was. I have to agree with the many previous comments about rude staff - particularly and quite bizarrely the Eastern European duty manager. Perhaps the margins they are making on the food and drink are so good they can afford to lose customers through poor service? The food and particularly the soft drinks were very expensive for what they are - massed produced and a bit bland. There are now many purveyors of reasonably priced hot food in and around Borough Market - I strongly recommend you choose one of those instead.

Great hot food - very welcome on a chilly day in this world of bland sarnie and coffee shops.
Along with Degustibus and The Place Below one of the best places for a lunch around Cheapside.

Not sure about the negative comments on here about Fusebox. I have always found the staff friendly and they have even chipped in the occasional freebie as I am a regular. Can't say it is over priced either. I always have the belly pork on a Wednesday with rice and a bottle of drink. £6.50 isn't bad considering that my belly is so full of delicious food that I groan all afternoon. Honestly, the Wednesday "Belly Pork" is to die for. V.Tasty indeed with huge cubes of pork with spicy crackling! Also, the salad with bulgar wheat, egg and avocado pear deserve mention as do the chilli roast spuds. I take the point about the seating arrangements, but it is no worse than Pret and you can always take it away and eat on the bench in the delightfullly shaded garden a few yards allong Ironmonger Row. All in all, one of my favourites, excellent and compares extremely well to "The Place Below" in Cheapside.
