This was a very good experience on the whole. I have been there with my wife for a evening, was listening good comments about the place from local people and thought of trying.

Though it was a late booking we got in time. it was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was about 3/4 full (not bad). we were offered a window seat looking over the Thames and the view itself was amazing, the décor was good too. I would say a very nice location in the south west London.

OK everything looks good, now how about the real thing, The menu has items which some of them i never heard off, but the staff were excellent in explaining the dishes and giving good recommendations.

The food arrived and as mentioned by many people it was extraordinary, the food was well presented and all the spices to the mark. The food was very light and looked very healthy.

Thank you Pappadums, you have a regular now. I strongly recommend this wonderful place.

Our meal here on Saturday just wasn't as good as meals from Indian restaurants nearby such as the Cinnamon Lounge in Isleworth or the Spice of Hanwell, Ealing Balti House or Urban Karahi in Hanwell.

The onion bhaji and sheik kebab starters were a little dry, as though they hadn't been prepared that day. The dips that came with the pappadums were tiny, although nice. There wasn't a very large choice of main courses and most were over £10, which is expensive for this area. When they came, the main courses were nice, but quite similar to each other. The nan bread wasn't served just out of the oven and so was a little cold.

The service was charming and this isn't a terrible restaurant by any means - it's just not as good as the local competition.

The food is amazing at this place. No question. Just don't order a takeaway. It took them TWO hours to deliver 0.5 miles away!!
