A very acceptable restaurant in smart surroundings. The food was above average whilst the service was slow at times. Overall if you are in the area its worth trying.

I went to Pappadums recently after a recommendation from my friends and was extremely impressed.  You don't haveto go to thecentre of London to get a clasy indian!!  The food was amazing, with perfect portions and the staff were very prompt and there was no waiting around for the bill which always helps.  I would thoroughly reccommend it to anyone, particularly for larger groups as they have a seperate area for parties.  The riverside view is stunning and generally enjoyed my evening thorougly.

This place serves the best curry I've eaten. It's different to the usual 'curry and a pint' Indian with friendly staff although it can be quiet early in the evening but don't let that put you off. I've been over 10 times and have never left anything other than completely satisfied - the Handii Gosht is so good. Mmm... Handii Gosht!

Unfortunately I've moved out of the area and this is the one place I miss most (that includes all the more lauded places in Chiswick). To the person who suggested that the portions are small - are you clinically obese?

Visited Pappadums on Sunday, it was an experience in itself. Good location, excellent decor and tempting food to have more and more... Taste is slightly different than the usual other indian restaurants. Would definetly point others in Pappadums direction.

This is my favourite indian restaurant. The food is delicious and unusual, not your usual curry house fare. The service is always really friendly and waiters give genuine and detailed opinions on the food, always with a smile.

The ambience is great...very smart but relaxed. They even play sitar music sometimes!

My family and I visited on Sat 30th July. I have to give credit where credit is due. The location is excellent, it is well sized, well decorated and the service is very polite. Now the downside, very expensive, small portions and the food is far from authentic. I originate from North India, and beleive me, this is not northern indian cuisine!! The dishes are very bland and lack bite or spice. I would not visit again or recommend this place - a £120 bill for four people is a little too excessive.

Consisently good, this is one of my favourite indian ressturants and probably the best in west london. Masala Dosa was excellent and the Partridge to my partners delight was spicy and gamey.

service as usual was friendly and professional. We ate on the terrace, alfresco style.
