Unbelievable experience. Arrived at 1950 and ordered food about 2000. The starters arrived at 2035 and had clearly been sat on a hot plate for some time. The sauce on the meatballs had dried on the plate and the nacho cheese, what there was of it was solid.
At 21.15, having had to go to the bar for our own drinks the starter plates were still on the table and we had not seen a member of staff within 10metres of our table for half an hour. Owing to a film about to start at the nearby cinema (very enjoyable) I looked for someone to pay for the starters. There was no one in sight so we had to leave the money on the table with a note and left. Glancing back there was still no one.
I will never go near this place again.

The price is very good and as for the service I can tell you that they are perfect The manager Elia was one of the nicest persons I ever came across no wander that the place is so well looked after, clean and kids friendly I have a 8 and 2 years old as soon we walked true the door Elia gave then balloons and acomodeted us in a nice table the kids loved the little packs too it kept them occupied and the food was in perfect timing The waiter was very attentive and Elia was too. If you have the oportunite go to Chiquitos Watford .

Great place, been going there for years, have always enjoyed this one in watford as the seem more unique then others in the chain, not only the food is special the staff are and always doing great events and great music at the weekends.
I love the fajitas and the jambalaya!

Please do not go to Chiquitos under any circumstances.
After a previous dire experience I relented and went with friends for pre cinema eats.
The food was equally dismal, tasteless greasy - I think they must tip it from the freezer straight into the deep fat fryer, drop it on the floor then scrape it onto a plate and cover with processed cheese.
To add insult to injury - there was no avocado left - in a 'Mexican' restaurant - go figure....
Cocktails are made with bottled mix though the bottled beers are safe..
I felt very sorry for the very nice and accommodating trainee waitress who served us - I hope she managed to find a better job somewhere where they serve food.
