Having visited this restaurant several times in past, I visited it again in September. However this time I discovered that the restaurant had introduced 12.5% service charge. I don't normally mind paying for this as long as it is deserved. And sadly service had fallen behind previous standards and I did not feel the service charge was deserved. I will most likely be not visiting this restaurant again.

We go often here. It's a great setting, simple menu, authentic food and good service.

Nothing ever goes wrong here and we always enjoy our experience

We have been here just once to enjoy a 2 for 1 offer, as we prefer hidden small restaurants rather than big eating-chain-style ones.

What we dislike of such big places is the atmosphere, which normally turns to be noisy, crowded, and messy; hence, it becames very difficult to find a connection with the people you are dining with.

We cannot complain about the service, which is helpful and ready to show you the menu.

Food is in the average, but well presented. If you are struggling to have a full immersion in the wide range of Indian spices and tastes, we highly recommend you to choose the Thalis, which is a wide selection of different recipies. Portions are hearty and prices reasonable.

Of course, you cannot expect a good list of wines. However, we suggest you a visit.

I went to the Baywater, which had lots of interesting decor. I never knew there was a branch in Bayswater and it is easy to miss. When in Bayswater, instead of turning left for Khan restaurant, you turn right for Masala Zone.

I have been to the Soho branch, which had much better food. Between branches it seems that quality can vary. I had tried the Pani Puri in Soho, which was amazing, only to find that the one in Bayswater was below standard.

The rest of the dishes were good, but disappointed about the Pani Puri, as that is why I had gone there!

Also, when we asked for pickle the waiter bought some sort of sweet chutney. Being an Indian waiter, he should be able to tell the difference.

The place looked clean and I would certainly return.

It was a great Eidul Adha dinner with my friends. I only paid £9 for the fulfilling thali prawn curry because they are offering 2 for 1 for every dishes. I don't mind coming again.
