All I can say is if you want authentic Japanese food then avoid this place. Deco looked Japanese but that stops there. Establishment seems to be run be Chinese as the background music was Chinese pop. I agree with a previous reviewer, waitress don't look very friendly and quite irritating hovering behind and watching you. Katsu don was the worst I've ever tasted. It was quite dry and believe it or not it had mushrooms. What? That is not a Katsu don. Needless to say I won't be going back!!!

This place has good food, but charges like it's got a Michelin star!
As well as having high prices and notably no discount for takeaway, last night after getting home from collecting the order I realised I was overcharged by £8. I called them up and pointed it out, but their first response was to say that I had got free edamame as if that made it OK! In the end, the only way they would refund me was if I brought back the edamame.... very strange customer service and a quick way to lose customers, particularly given that I'd spent just under sixty quid for two of us.
Overall, the thing with this place is that if the prices were more sensible then we'd go much more often - we don't mind paying for quality but feel it's become a rip-off and the service is a put-off too.

Ive been to this place 3 or 4 times now and the food is pretty good. You can get a buffet which consists of sushi starters, and then a second round of cooked starters (which are fantastic!) and then a main. You can also order more sushi after if you are still hungry, all counted in the price. The prices are reasonable.
The service however, lets the place down. The waitresses all look misrable.
Last time me and my girlfriend went, one stood behind us the whole time, pretending to look at a wall fitting, but was looking at us, which was slightly off putting. Its not as if we were even roughly dressed or looked out of place.
Also we were literally harrassed to place our order when we sat down. Also, we had only just started our first course, when the second arrived on the table.
Id still recommend this restuarant, but go for the food and not the service/atmosphere, not the best place to take your girl on a romantic evening.
Do try the warm Sake they serve if you enjoy a tipple, its fantastic!

I would say I visit this place more then I visit my own mother. The all you can eat sushi buffet is always good, fresh and very well priced. Whats more is you get a whole host of other items to pick from as well and if buffet doesn't float your boat the a la carte menu is packed with treats.
Only down point is I don't think I have ever seen the waitress smile of or be in a good mood saying that they are attentive!

One of my favourite restaurants! Also not only is the food excellent (having had many different types of Sushi in many different places) but it's always full of Japanese people eating there AND you can get made to order buffet at a fixed price!!!!!! First reviewer is bonkers!

I disagree with the last reviewer. I went to this restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious, and great value for money. The tempura batter was just right and the teriyaki was very tasty. I will definitely be visiting again.

This is one of those chain places that sell non-authentic food.
The food is edible and if you are one of those people who find most Oriental food the same than you'll be fine here. Unfortunately as a Japanese person I can't eat anything here.
The soups (miso and noodle soups) have been made without stock (dashi). The sushi is ok, but they just buy it from Atariya supermarket down the road so it's far cheaper and fresher if you go there.
The service is pretty appalling. The staff are Chinese and don't know japanese ettiquette. They do the usual Chinese canteen thing of throwing everything at you.
I've been to this branch twice for people's birthdays. Although I will set foot inside, it's never out of choice.
