Friendly Inn

Is Friendly Inn really that bad? I didn't think so! Okay, it doesn't stand out from the crowd, but it's not the hell-hole it's being made out to be! Surely?

Food was certainly better than average. We just went for a set menu for efficiency. Service was absolutely fine. They've recently(ish) had a renovation as well. I remember the old guise; it was looking so very tired, so the new look is a welcome relief and a much needed upgrade.

Prices are actually in line with the rest of Chinatown. A couple of items are more expensive, but it's certainly not a rip-off. I'd have no problem returning.

I went to the Friendly Inn with a group of friends, and sadly we were all disappointed. The food was slow to come and was bland. A member of staff was very rude to us, and when we refused to pay the so-called 'optional' service charge, we were shouted at. I won't be going back!
