Wewere a party of eight and every one thoughtitwas excellent food , good surroundings and the staff were pleasant and efficient

I will definitely recommend it and go again.

At any price the food was top rate ... as it happens the prices are very good

A perfect spot to hang out in the City. Really enjoyed the food there last night and the seasonal cocktails are impressive. Its relaxed whilst being a premium offering and spacious enough so that you dont feel cramped, which is a total luxury in this neck of the woods. Shall be back and might try out their new culinary academy after work too..

Visited the Class Rooms with a group of friends and simply loved it. The food is great, I loved the lamb and all my mates also enjoyed their dishes. The service was dazzling and the price was even better. Overal a fantastic place for good music and food at a great price with the top level of service around that area.

Staff rude, incompetent and arrogant. Drinks are horribly over priced and the exclusive 'atmosphere' was as good as any average bar in the city, didn't feel like we were in anything special at all.

Avoid. There are plenty of good places just a short walk away.

Ate here last night for my mums birthday in a table of 5. Had a pre ordered Xmas set menu for £29.99. Greeting was very good by a friendly and helpful cloakroom attendant. We were taken straight to our table. First impressions were that it was a bit like a nightclub in feel, look and volume. The restaurant area is very small and it was hard to chat over the music.

The food was decent but not great in terms of quality and portions were very small. No veg was served with some of the mains.

My main gripe was the service. Although we had plenty of attention it was very clinical and not friendly at all. Almost every 5 mins our wine glasses were topped up whether we liked it or not! That was a pain as as the driver I had to be on my guard to keep saying no. This continued even after my friend told the waitress we were fine to top up our wine ourselves as we found it very annoying It also became obvious that the aim was to make us buy as much as possible. We were offered coffee, brandy or whiskey by at least 3 waitresses - clearly the first 'no' hadn't been communicated! This level of wanting to provide us with what we wanted might be quite sweet albeit slightly annoying if it weren't so cynical. I say that because, although everything paid for came very quickly when we asked for a jug of water (free) it was met with an odd reaction of 'oh, ok' and had to be asked for 4 times before it arrived!

On balance, a decent evening but I wouldn't go back. Too loud, felt like an afterthought to the bar and food good not great.

Northcliffe House Restaurant that previously occupied these premises suffered from a severe dose of arrogance. The Class Rooms suffers from a degree of arrogance but not to the same level. Whilst I do not like to be rushed I do hate waiting for ages. Everything here seemed slow – being greeted, being seated, taking your order, etc. On to the food. This was rather average and did not really reflect its relatively high cost. Also the mains are not really mains as to make them so you have to order extra vegetables that are ridiculously expensive. Two portions cost the same as a full Sunday roast in my local pub and that comes with very generous potions of seasonal vegetables. When will restaurants learn that a good portion of vegetables should not be extras but part of the main course. The desserts were more reasonably priced and quite good. One of my friends had some delicious cheese but at a price! Wine also highly priced for what it was. We won’t be going again!

Awful. We waited for an age for our starters which were distinctly average. We then waited over an hour for our main courses to arrive only for them to get the order wrong. The main courses themselves were dire and the accompanying portions were tiny (seriously, you cannot charge £4 for half a ramikin of baby carrots). There was no apology for any of this, just a shrug of the shoulders from the incredibly arrogant maitre d. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Food is not Michelin Star Quality. Don't expect second Club Gascon or anything like that. No wonder: On Friday Night there were only 3 couples eating, the rest of people were drinking in the bar area. We had this Internet Offer, so it was not that bad. Decor is interesting though and staff are friendly.

Friendly service, beautiful decor, but food could be better. We had a special offer, so it was not that bad, but otherwise would not be worth it. Friendly and efficient service though! Well done.
