Disappointing experience all round. After specifically asking to make sure we were getting two different dishes we were brought out two dishes that looked and tasted almost exactly the same only they had mixed them up so my wife actually got the slightly hotter one. They disagreed when I mentioned they were the same even though it was evident they could not tell the difference.
We then twice had to get the bill corrected, over charged by more that £25 the first time. constructive feedback to the manager at the end ended with him telling us not to come back to his restaurant.
its a very run of the mill place and there are much better options in crystal palace.

Since moving further towards Crystal Palace, this has become a bit of a regular haunt. A very casual and friendly place, with some absolutely lovely dishes, Yak & Yeti is superb value for money (especially if you can get some kind of offer, which they have on frequently). Try the momo, the salmon ashwain and the seafood mismas. Feel very lucky to have this place to nip into/order from!

TERRIBLE. Terrible. The food is fine. The staff however are are not. Having eaten here and ordered takeaway from here I can say its nothing short of disappointing. An hour and 30mins wait for any food is not worth waiting for, but to actually have to deal with the lies of "its on its way and should be with you in five minutes" twice!! is appaling. Don't eat here. Don't order from here.

How to eat at Yak & Yeti. Go to Crystal Palace. Sit. Don't moan about the slightly slow service, it will be worth the wait. Sip cold Gurkha beer, or Cobra.
Order the momos (dumplings), the Nepali chicken, something with lamb and lemon rice. Eat, enjoy, realise that your local Indian takeaway is nowhere near as good as this and promise to come back.
Love this place, love it!
