Been there for lunch yesterday. First of all no staff was seen for the next 3 minutes. When somebody appeared, we were asked to sit on a dirty table. We of course refused. We were then offered a clean one. We later realised the water jug was only half full and there was no glass on the tray. We ordered parotha which was hard very cold and hard and unable to tear. We explained to a waiter about the parotha and thought that he understood but he never. Another waiter came with the same plate to ask why we send the parotha back, I had to try to tear it infront of customers to show how hard it is to break and maybe eat. Seriously they could hardly understand English. I had visited Chennai Dosa in Croydon before which was excellent but the one in East ham has really put me off and in future I do not want to even think about having a meal in any Chennai Dosa.

Been there last week, good food for very very low prices. A +- £2.50 dosa is more then enough for one person. The staff were very friendly and when we asked for a doggy bag they gave us extra sauce on the house. There's a good variety of food as well. £10 is enough for a family of 4 (without drinks) and drinks are not expensive. Highly recommended

Chennai Dosa went very badly over past years. Now it is gone worst , where should i start on

1. Food? 2.Service? 3.Background? 4.Service?

Nothing is good at this place. if you are planning to go out please do not enter that door if you do enter then you will regret your choice!

My worst ever restaurant experience. Staff have no clue with what they are doing. they all interested staying away from customers and occupied with their own things and chatting. Very hard to interact with staffs, atleast have to call 5 times if not you have to stare at them to get response.

Food is really wrong. EVERTHING! Dosa is VERY OILY and smelly, too cripsy like roti which can be broken into pieces instead of slices.

Worst Drinks...Turkey imported PEPSI< COKE< TANGO 7UP!! and some of they out of stock.

Funny part is that we asked for bill they provided spare PLATE. Inexperienced staff and very unpleasant.

Final advice. Do not Enter that DOOR!

Please go to other restaurants such as Saranabavan well its vegetarian but you wont be disappointed. if you walk further down.
