What an understated restaurant! The restaurant is crying out for a make-over in terms of decor. But what it doesn't do in decor it certainly makes up for in terms of flavours! It serves buffet malaysian fayre and also a la carte malaysian on some evenings. From speaking to the owners, they have a very loyal following with a large proportion of Malaysian diners. They also hold special evenings for people on their email listings. If you're lucky you may end up there on a 'Chilli Crab Night'. They have a really great range of Malaysian dishes which really taste home-cooked & delicious. From the dated look of the shopfront and internals myself & my malaysian wife-to-be weren't expecting much. However, when we sampled the buffet we were gob-smacked as to the authenticity of the offerings. It was almost like being back in Malaysia! We tasted the best curry laksa outside of KL along with mouth-watering char koay teow amongst a myriad of offerings. The meal was even finished off with mango sago! My only gripe was that I over-ate! We couldn't believe our buffet dinner only set us back £7.99 each! This place is an uncut diamond! We're definitely looking foward to returning soon.
